I'm on a mission to save kids through video games, and I need your help.
My local Children's Miracle Network Hospital treats thousands of children each year, regardless of their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents to name just a few.
On November 2nd, 2013, I'll be participating in this huge worldwide celebration of the social impact of gamers like me and it's my sincere hope that you'll find it in your heart to support me with a monthly pledge or one-time gift that will go directly to my hospital.
Your donation is tax-deductible and ALL PROCEEDS go to help kids.
In addition to the warm fuzzies that naturally come with helping people in need, I'm providing a little incentive for one random person who donates toward my goal of $150.
This is similar to to the popular "YCH" or "Your Character Here" auctions that have gone around the art sites lately. Basically, if you sponsor me, you're in the running to game with me in a cell shaded color commission. The second image in the photoset is the line-art - your character will replace the sketchy outline in blue.

And, to make it even more interesting, if I raise more than $500, the person who wins will also receive a 11x17 print of the artwork, absolutely free.
How will you find out who wins? Well, I'll be assigning each non-anonymous person who donates a number, and then will be using a random number generator to pick the winner after donations close. The winner will be announced December 1st, publically on this site as well as every art site I'm a part of, then I will be emailing the winner to ask for a character reference so that the picture can be completed, and a shipping address (if the donation level qualifies - otherwise they'll receive a high resolution JPG in email).
So get those donations in and get your chance at gaming with me forever in picture form! The widget will remain on both of my sites until the event is over so that you can track the progress at all times. But if you don't donate, you don't have a chance of winning, so please donate! These kids can use all the help we can give.
