Well, in the earlier cartoons he was too little, but in the comics he's had crushes on a number of female characters, and it never seems to work out for him (Of the three that immediately come to mind, one tried to kill him, one fell for Sonic and another fell for Sonic, broke up and betrayed the Freedom Fighters)
