Testing out a new layering technique with this one. I had some success with it in saving me time and frustration and I learned a few ways on how to refine it better but not until after I was done. I'm going to try things a little differently next time with how I layer characters and background but I think I'm on the right track.

I'm not too satisfied with the coloring on it, it could be a lot better and I even screwed up on some of it. Oh well, at least I learned some things through this.

Now as for the art itself, it wasn't something I had originally planned for but the idea came to me on the return trip home from grocery shopping a few weeks ago. Rune, Juna, and Snowfur becoming ninjas is definitely a non-canon idea but surprisingly I came up with a few ideas that could be turned into a silly side-comic or two. Maybe I'll do up something like that in the time between chapters 2 and 3 of Demordicai Diamonds when I'm planning the out chapter 3.
