Actually, a craft beer brewer I know has a wonderful, sinfully good lager called Eisbock (Ice bock). They let the beer freeze slightly during fermentation and extract the ice crystals, and it results in a strong beer that is just a step below barley wine in terms of alcohol content. Good stuff...really good stuff =3

That actually sounds delicious, but I couldn't drink much of it. One bottle, provided I kept it cold enough to not lose its carbonation, would have me completely schnockered for a whole day. Maybe two.
My friend the mead maker understands that I have to keep samples of her work really small. The largest serving I ever had was around a couple tablespoons, and I was buzzed like a field of clover next to a beehive.
I have no tolerance for alcohol. :-( But nobody likes to listen to me wine. ;-)
