Been watching Defiance and well after a few eps I've gotta say I like the series so far. And in keeping with my nerdiness I've created a fan character and a hybrid one at that. ^^

Dasik Olten had been playing in his back yard for much of the morning. Their yard was well groomed with a small flower patch off to one side near the patio. Several of the radiant flowers were obviously not Terran in origin. Dasik had helped plant them a few months ago and remembered his mother telling him they were were from Irath. Dasik loved hearing her tell stories about when she was a little girl and the forest of Irath. Up in he tree of their back yard was a tree house though it was fairly diffrent. The architecture of it was most definitely Castithan. Dasik's father had built it. He was a great Architect back on Casti. He'd helped design quite a lot for the town here. Helios. His dad had told him it was short for Heliopolis an ancient Earth city where many people gathered. Like the Pioneer town of Defiance Helios had major enclaves of all the Votan races and humans as well. Dasik himself was a lil simple of the unity starting to develop. The child of an Irathient Woman and Castithan Man. Dasik was a curious lad eager to learn and see just about anything new. Though he could be quite shy when it came to new people. A few Castithan boys loved teasing him about anything from his mixed blood his shyness, and his continence issues. Dasik liked relaxing with just his diapers and thanks to the high fence his dad made he could do so in his back yard. For the moment though Dasik was coming back inside after playing in his tree house. Pretending to be captain of an Ark on it's way to Earth. As he walked up onto the patio he stopped as his mom walked out.

"Coming in for dinner sweetie?" She asked with a smile. Dasik nodded with a smile. 'Looks like you could use a change too."

"Uh Huh." Dasik said holding his arms up to her.

"Well then lets go get you fixed up and have some dinner. Your father's making some of those human fried things you like." She smiled scooping her son up and carried him inside.

"Oh you mean Fries? Yay!" Dasik cheered with a grin on his face as he was carried up to his room.
