These were drawn 3 years ago or so for a contest on Fa. Tannim dressed and acting like Sss'ra might act in the game "Master of Magic" if the game had more day to day life fleshed out.
I still like the series despite the age and my limited drawing ability at the time.
Picture 1 - My Damned Familiar Ate My Book AGAIN.
- Sss'ra(tannim in a costume :) discovers that his familiar ate his magic book while bored. It makes researching new spells a challenge as he has to wait until the little guy craps it out and magic it back to what it used to be.
Picture 2 - Summoning the Great Drake
Here Sss'ra is trying to summon a mighty great drake... however he accidentally summons a duck instead... he shouldn't have tried such magic on an empty stomach it seems.
Picture 3 - You want the Axe or the Sword?
- Sss'ra is browsing his armory with one of his heroes to prepare it for battle... He has a nice powerful axe... or a weak sword with built in MP3 Player. Sadly the hero took the sword and died in battle while listening to a song and started singing along with it instead of paying attention to the battle.
Picture 4 - Where to Attack Next
- Sss'ra stands over the globes of Arcanus and Myrror trying to decide where to attack next. He finds it handy to stand on them and turn them with his feet as he browses. Too bad he forgot to strap on his shoulder pads. He is moderately annoyed by them falling off when he bends over, but doesn't want to waste time picking them back up yet.
Picture 5 - Commanding the Battle
- Sss'ra peers into a magic image held in a ring made from his own curled tail and directs the battle through it. His bowmen make quick work of the pegasus that are protecting the city he is invading. A few lightning bolts from him helps ensure they don't take any casualties... but the city itself isn't so lucky. Damn! He wanted that cathedral.
Picture 6 - Be Careful Around Doom Drake Stables
- Sss'ra is busy thinking about the cost of rebuilding a Cathedral he blew up in the fight for the city and doesn't remember to watch where he's stepping. Always good advice to watch your step when walking past a Draconian Stable... Doom Drakes are famous for their enjoyment of watching their caretakers step in "That Which Squishes Between the Toes". The doom drake out in the short field can barely keep itself from laughing at the draconian in the funny clothes.
