Chad is the main character from Renee Carter Hall's excellent, excellent, excellent Tiny Toons fanfic "Out Of The Closet And Into The Fire". Go read this story now; it's my absolute favorite TTA fic of all time.
I loved Plucky's reactions in each situation. He was scared at first, but at least found a common ground to build on. Reminded me of the times when a few friends came out to me the first time. It was tough getting those phobias out of my head.

Yes, I liked that the author didn't oversimplify things into just 'total acceptance' and 'bigotry'. There's a lot of layers to prejudice, and some of them come from ignorance without any malice in them.

And each one was explored nicely: Plucky: Nervous, and still nervous even after he's accepted it. Babs: Shocked to "No problem." Buster: Shocked to " I can handle it, and still friends" Fifi: "Still must flirt with cute boys."
This was one of the first TTA fanfics I've ever read (that wasn't a cheesy erotica). A great one to start with in my opinion.
