Every Big Pokemon's worst nightmare

When a chemical spilled at a laboratory and a pokemon accidentally inhales its fumes to turn tiny, what will happen to them now that they are basically in a whole new world?

A freak accident in a laboratory has caused a poor Dragonite that happened to be walking outside of it to get really tiny. You see some kind of chemical spilled while scientists were doing something and the smell of it coming through it was enough to affect the dragonite's body to be turned super tiny, to the size of a tiny insect now.
The dragonite was quite worried and didnt know how he could return themselves back to normal, and their new surroundings were a lot more scary with how small they were.
They could just go and tell the lab about this, but they didnt wanna risk getting accidentally stepped on with how small he was, so for the moment the dragonite just had to explore around for now and maybe find someone that knows these scientists.
As he carefully walks away from the lab for now, his new surroundings were so much bigger, and was really worried about the little things he didnt used to care about before. He chose to not fly since it would be a bit more difficult for him to navigate the skies this tiny, and he wasnt the best at flying either.
Soon as the dragonite kept walking around, trouble started to brew on the horizon, a droplet of water was on a leaf and with how tiny the dragonite really was, unfortunately when it finally dropped, the water drop suddenly falls down on the dragonite, trapping them inside!
The dragonite didnt even have time to get a good breath in before this happened so he suddenly found himself underwater and covering his mouth and nose, bubbles leaving them regardless.
He wasnt the best at holding his breath, but he an last a good amount of time, not having gotten a great breath tho will definitely reduce how long the dragonite can survive underwater.
So he started trying everything to get the water droplet to pop, but not matter what he did, the dragonite just couldn't pop the droplet, and it was really starting to worry the dragonite.
His face was already flushing red from not having gotten a good deep breath in, bubbles continously leaving his nose and mouth as he keeps trying his best to get the water droplet to pop.
But no matter what he did, nothing worked, and by that point he gave up entirely, just sitting down and accepting that theres nothing he could do to escape this droplet. With his face flushing blue now, he accepted his defeat. That is until he remembered something, his tail. It was pretty pointy, so maybe with enough force, he could use his tail to pop the water droplet and finally free himself!
Using that knowledge the dragonite soon points the tip of his tail to the water droplet, and with enough force he was able to pop it in seconds! Finally he was able to catch his breath from that, panting a little as his face had gone blue.
Now the dragonite had to be even more cautious then ever now, he really had to watch his step to make sure nothing else happened. He spotted some insects going about their business and to him they looked like people because of how new size.
The poor Dragonite had a slight fear of bugs, so he wasnt too happy around the ants and spiders that were walking around, but he tried his best to ignore them for now. As he keeps walking, the dragonite soon comes a huge to him puddle of water, and because of his size it looked like a miniature pool. Since he couldnt fly too well to get over it, the dragonite instead had to just wade through the puddle, which he did do and had to actually swim to stay afloat.
But a sudden gust of wind caught him off guard and pushed him below the surface all of a sudden, barely able to get a breath once again. Thankfully the puddle wasnt overly deep, so he had to kind of wait until the wind stops, which he could tell its done by the ripples on the surface. Unfortunately for him it was rather windy, so he had to stay down far longer then he would have liked. Up to the point where his face was turning red, but luckily it wasnt that long before the wind finally passed and the dragonite was allowed to surface.
He gasps for air once he did, and now he really just wants to go back to normal soon, he really hates being so tiny and going through underwater stuff, which wasnt helping things at all.
As he keeps walking around, occasionally dodging more water drops and being actaully ready for them, the dragonite decided enough was enough already and he makes his way to where the laboratory is.
But just before he could reach it, another gust of wind suddenly carries the dragonite into the air and with no control over where it was taking him! The dragonite was so scared and didnt know what to do or how to fight back against the strong winds. The winds eventually died down, but he falls down into a lake nearby, and to him this lake was absolutely enormous! The shore looked so far away from him, but he had no choice but to swim back to it.
Its taking so long because of how small he was, and he hasnt even gotten close to the shore as he was already so exhausted. So tired to the point where he can't even swim anymore and actually ends up starting to sink! With there being no other option he has no other choice but to save his remaining energy and takes a big deep breath and holds it before his body submerged underwater.
He sinks down pretty deep, but suddenly a pipe in the distance sucks him in and he is rapidly going through an underwater pipe now! Immediately the dragonite was so worried, whining out bubbles as he was dragged along for the ride. The pipe looked incredibly long too, but he had to try his best to hang in there as it pushed him through all sorts of twists and turns, which causes him to get dizzy in the process too and lose more air.
His face was already turning blue since his lungs were getting tired, the end didnt seem like it was in sight, but everything was moving really fast, so he just needs to hang in there.
Sure enough, he was finally let out of the underwater pipe and into what looks like a small tank of water, which he immediately surfaces in and gasps for air. He looks around and sees some scientists working on something, he tries to get their attention, knocking on the glass and all, and since his wings were wet he couldnt fly right away. But nobody hears him, at least not until one scientist, an anthro lizard, sees the little thing in the tank and gently goes over to scoop him out, seeing the tiny dragonite on their finger!
Quickly he realized what happened and tells his other scientist friends, and they work together to get a growing machine going to turn the dragonite back to normal, which thankfully it didnt take too long to get it started, he would have to submerge in the green liquid that would turn him back to normal, but its only for a few minutes.
The dragonite sighs and just gets it done and over with, holding his breath before dropping into the green liquid. Only 4 minutes goes by and hes finally all back to normal, getting out of the tank finally and releasing his breath. So relieved hes back to normal he thanks the scientists before heading off, hoping this doesnt happen again.

The Ultimate Plaything

Having been recieved a magical inflatable toy, this pokemon is gonna use its power to go to a place where no one has ever dared to travel to

Receiving something special from their grandpa that has been passed down by many generations, this adventurous Charizard was handed what appears to be one of inflatable toys that you would use in the water, it was shaped like a swan, and apparently this swan toy has a special kind of power.
You see, this swan toy has a very special power inside it, and when the user of it lays down on the toy to use it, it will enable them to basically be invincible from things that would normally hurt them.
So being his adventurous self, the charizard decided to use this toy to explore a place hes never been to before because of its highly dangerous red waters. These waters had a high level of a dangerous chemical that could instantly KO someone if they didnt have any protection. Its temperature also reach very high levels, even fire types like charizard weren't fully safe from them.
Heading to this dangerous red looking lake now, the charizard gazes out at it, its red hue a menace to most people, but to this charizard, they weren't scared of it now that they had this swan toy for protection.
Laying the toy on the surface of the water, the charizard then gets on it and it starts floating on it, sure enough when he starts kicking in kt, the toy's mysterious power makes sure the charizard wasnt effected by the red water and doesnt even hurt him at all.
Now to really test this out, the charizard grabbed some goggles as he was planning on fully submerging under this dangerous red lake. Taking a couple deep breaths to prepare himself for the dive ahead, the charizard wasnt even scared. He's been underwater before and while sometimes he doesnt like it, on some days his adventurous spirit makes it so he actually likes it and faces those fears.
After holding his breath, he tilts the swan downwards and kicks his legs to dive underwater with it, he has to remain on the swan at all times, or he'll likely get poisoned from the toxic waters pretty quickly, so the charizard has to be very cautious. Despite what one might think, the swan was perfectly capable of staying underwater even tho it is full of air.
Now down under the red lake, it looked incredibly acidic and bubbling a little as well, it looked like its waters have never ever been explored before. The only life the charizard could see under the water were these white looking eel worms that looked like parasites of some sort living in this red lake. If it wasnt for the toy protecting this charizard those warm like parasites would get into his skin and do some...not so great things to him.
Slowly kicking his legs down deeper, he was pretty happy to explore what was even down here, letting out some bubbles as his face turns a little red, the charizard isnt the best at breath holding by all means, but he can hold it for a surprisingly good amount of time.
The waters were definitely confusing, but the charizard is able to navigate them pretty nicely as he kicks slowly above the bottom, so far nothing too much had happened as the charizard was still calm and under not too much strain.
Soon the charizaed comes across a cave, that is definitely looking pretty unknown at what could be lurking in there, and thankfully it was just enough room for the charizard to squeeze his way inside it.
Entering the cave the waters here were definitely more chemically then the outside of the red lake. There was more weird chemicals in this cave then outside of it, so the charizard made sure to hold on extra tight so he doesnt accidentally fall off.
There were more of the weird parasites that seem to follow the charizard as he goes, obviously they cant effect him with the toy hes on. There was some weird slime like substance on the walls which the charizard took a closer look at, it was definitely really weird to see.
As the charizard's face turns fully red and almost blue, he keeps exploring on deeper in the cave, but all of a sudden as he gets to a certain point of the cave, a sudden strong blast of wind knocks him away! The force of the wind was so strong, that it carried the charizard out of the cave, and he was unable to keep his grip on the toy and slipped off of it!
Now he was in trouble, the red waters almost immediately started to burn the charizard's body, causing him to immediately scream out bubbles in pain, as mentioned before this stuff can effect even the toughest of fire types. The parasites from before come over to the now affected charizard and try to make their way into his body. The charizard does his best to swat them away, and also try and reach for his magical swan toy. His body was burning so badly and the parasites were starting to get into his body and make him feel even worse.
Desperate for the pain to stop and for air, the charizard uses his last ditch efforts to reach for the swan floatable, and thankfully he finally manages to get back on it. With the swan's magic working instantly, the charizard's pain and the parasites inside them finally went away and his body slowly healed back to normal. Thankfully in emergencies the swan's magic continues to work even when your already hurt.
Now he just needed to get a refill on air, with his face purple now the charizard holds onto the swan toy and kicks his way back up to the surface. He was a bit deep under but he thinks he'll make it with no more issues, and thankfully he finally gets up to the surface and gasps for air heavily, panting a little. That was definitely enough adventure for today. He gets out of the red lake and looks out at it one more time, he was definitely gonna make the trip back here to keep explore this mysterious place, but for now he takes his swan and heads back home to rest after his eventful dive.

Gotta Work Hard for Rewards

Having heard rumors of this portal deep underwater that could contain something nobody has ever seen before, a brave yet nervous pokemon was about to check it out, and they have no idea what was gonna be in store for them
Rating: Mature (Near drowning, toxic gas)

Down deep in the most unknown parts of the ocean, where a hidden portal is, lies what looks like a large underwater temple, it looks like something that was straight out of a video game, and the only way to get there was through that portal.
So a pokemon was feeling especially brave today and wanted to explore this cool place that nobody had ever been to, and that pokemon was a Marowak. This guy is useally pretty rough and tough, but water was a whole different story, he was useally pretty frightened about going in it, especially going underwater. But he has his trusty bone club for protection, so maybe he should at least get to see what was down there, his curiosity was starting to get the better of him.
He's only been underwater maybe a handful of times, and all those times its been really rough on him, the Marowak has actually almost drowned all 3 of those times, he hopes for his sake that it won't happen today.
With a pair of goggles on his forehead, the Marowak heads over to secluded part of the ocean. As mentioned before he's only been underwater a few times, so his breath holding isnt impressive, but he was still determined to go down to it no matter what it took.
As the Marowak eventually wades into the waters, he realizes that hes gonna have to dive down pretty deep for this, really deep as a matter of fact, and all that makes the marowak really nervous. When he gets to the spot where the portal lies, all he does is float there while looking down, whimpering and clutching his bone club close to him.
For a while thats all he does, he just couldnt convince himself to dive with how truly scared he was feeling, but then he thinks about what he could discover or what could be lurking on the other side of the portal. He didnt know yet that the portal leads to that temple, so for all he knows is that it could be something awesome, and if he doesnt dive soon enough, he'll likely wont be able to see it.
Despite his very worried expression, the marowak had to talk himself into diving, and eventually his bravery is finally showing, he lowers his goggles over his eyes, takes some deep breaths, plugging his nose before finally diving underwater, little bubbles leaving his mouth as he did so.
He was very much terrifed, shivering with fear all over, but he tries his best to calm down so he could hold his breath properly and start swimmimg down deeper to reach this mysterious portal. Serveral fish and and aquatic pokemon notice the marowak and watch him swim down deeper, they were wondering what was going on and why the marowak was down here, but reguardless they shrug and go about their day as usual.
Bubbles escape his mouth slowly as the marowak tries his best to hang in there, it was gonna be a bit of a swim to get down there, and he hopes he'll be able to hold his breath long enough to reach it.
As time goes on, the marowak's face was already fully red, not even halfway to the portal, he grunts in strain, covering his mouth and whining some more as he absolutely hates being so low on air and the burning feeling of his lungs.
This was gonna be a harder journey then the marowak realizes, but he wasnt gonna give up that easily. He starts to look around for any sources of air, and hopes theres some air bubbles nearby.
But thankfully, a bubble finally comes up near a little rock area, and he quickly grabs it and inhales it, his face returning to normal before he continues the journey downwards.
By now the waters get dim as the marowak continues down, causing him to get worried again, whimpering a bit in fear as he was considering going back up and quitting. But he was so close to that portal that he can't just give up now, he says some encouraging words to himself and saying that he just needs to be brave and tough out the dive. But with the pressure slowly becoming noticeable, it was causing the marowak to slow down a little to equalize said pressure.
As his face flushes red once again, the marowak soon sees some glowing in the distance and that glow was coming from the portal! The marowak finally reaches it, and all he has to do to enter inside it and see what is lurking on the other side!
The marowak, with his bone club clutched in his hand, swims slowly into the portal, he hopes ill open up to fresh air and he wouldnt have to face his underwater fears again, but unfortunately that wasnt the case
Once the marowak was through, he arrives in an underwater temple, the waters dimmed a little in here and there was no sign of air or anyway to escape it, at least for now. The marowak didnt know where to explore first, this place looked pretty big, but then all of a sudden, a sheet of waterproof paper appears in front of the marowak, then some glowing text appears on it, it said:
"Dear Adventurer, you have done very well reaching this hidden place, and you're certainly brave for even coming all the way down here, I have something great for you, but first you must pass my challenges, are you prepared for this?"
Then, a glowing pen appears in marowak's other hand and two checkboxes with "Yes" or "No" on them. The marowak was quite nervous as to what these challenges were gonna be, but he's already down here so, he may as well make the best of it, so he checks "Yes", before the pen disappears and the paper does as well.
Now the real challenge begins, the marowak can see a door that has opened, which was locked before, thinking that was the way forward, he swims over to it, his face fully red however and turning blue.
For the first challenge, the marowak suddenly feels his body completely sink to the floor and unable to swim. There was an obstacle course ahead, he had to get through it without swimming. This was gonna be tough. So the marowak starts running along the bottom, staying firmly in place on the ground as he did, he jumps through a hoop, dodges an axe flying right at him, and even some spikes that almost got him. He was still feeling scared with how low he was on breath, but a voice soon plays in his head
"Push through the pain, don't give up that easily"
Hearing that made the marowak gain some more confidence, weaving through more and more of the obstacles until finally he reaches the other side! The glowing words "Well Done" appear on the side of the wall, before the ceiling above suddenly disappears and reveals an air pocket!
When he feels himself able to swim again, he quickly swims up to it, then the marowak gasps for air heavily once he reaches it, there appeared to be a long platform that continues forward, into the next room. It seems like this part of the test was dry, which he was pretty relieved about that. However as soon as he gets into the next room, it suddenly closes and locks on its own, the next challenge was on the horizon as some kind of toxic gas spurts out of an unknown source, casuing the marowak to get scared again. The next part of the challenge was to not inhale the gasses, while performing, dance moves? It appears whoever sets this up wants to see if the worth adventurer can keep calm under the pressure of the gas while also performing some great moves.
The marowak was especially scared here since hes never had to do this before, but reguardless he had to hold his breath again and cover his nose, which he did just before the gasses could reach him, so much for a non breath holdimg part of this challenge. On a hidden screen there were different moves the marowak had to copy, but all these moves required him to take his hand off his nose, which he absolutely didnt wanna do. He whined loudly and didnt do it for a while, but the voice soon returns to his head.
"Don't let a little gas slow you down my friend, face your fear and dance your heart out"
While he was still unsure where this was coming from, the marowak had to try and be brave, so with a reluctant whine he finally removes his hand from his nose and does his best not to inhale. Then as his face flushes red he starts to perform the moves on screen, from doing flips in the air to even striking poses with his bone club. Every move he stumbles a little, but he completes them with pride and bravery, even while he has to keep a tight hold of his breath and not breathe the fumes. He dances for a while, his face going blue during the process, but in the end he completes the dancing challenge, glowing words saying on the wall "Great Job!", before a hidden door opens, allowing the marowak to continue. Covering his mouth with both his hands he runs out of the gas filled room, and once he was clear to inhale he does so heavily, already been pushed to his limit a lot today.
The platform leads to a spot where the marowak will have to dive back underwater, so getting in, he takes some deep breaths and holds it in tightly before diving back down underwater, ready for whatever comes next.
The final challenge was here, and it was gonna be a rough one, and the last one was draining all of his air out and attempting to swim through this pipe with completely empty lungs, and whoever knows about this knows if they are cheating. This made the marowak even more scared, more then ever before. Draining out all his air?? He'll drown for sure! For a while he simply floated there, unsure what to do, he wanted to go home at this point, he didnt think he was strong enough for something like this, but soon that voice returns in his head
"I know this is gonna be hard, but your much stronger then you think you are, I promise when your done with this challenge, you'll like whats gonna happen"
The marowak still wasnt sure, but he made up his mind, he was gonna do it! He soon blows out all of his air through his nose and mouth, and once he was completely empty he immediately covers his nose and mouth, whimpering as he was so close to inhaling the water. Wasting no time he swims ahead through the pipe with empty lungs, trying his absolute best to not inhale. He hopes for his sake the pipe isnt long.
He swallowed little bits of water every now and then, but he remains ok for the most part. The marowak takes some careful turns around the pipe, navigating it carefully, and finally he sees the end and rushes to it, popping out on the other side! But he was still underwater! Desperately looking around, he spots an air bubble randomly popping up, and immediately he goes to it and inhales it just in time.
Now full of air again, a glowing path leads the marowak to what looks like some kind of ritual room. It looked old but well maintained, and when the marowak swims inside it, some sparkles suddenly appear and floating there was some kind of huge looking green creature, it had a lizard like tail, webbed hands which were pretty big, a large fin on it back, trio of horns on its forehead and it was in the shape of a fish. This was a fish god, and many believed this particular one, nobody has ever seen before, this marowak was the first to ever discover it.
The fish god soon speaks clearly to the marowak
"You have done very well, you've shown me so much bravery and spirit through these challenges, and I couldnt be more proud of you. As a reward for your hard work, you are about to receive some very special powers, please, kneel down on this here"
A platform comes up and the marowak was in awe for a moment before he eventually kneels down on it
The fish god soon comes over and using their arms they launch some kind of lightening strike on the marowak's body, it doesnt even hurt them tho, it was soothing, which makes the marowak close his eyes for a moment, his face flushing red again. The fish god does some complicated gestures and soon they stop.
The marowak's red blush was suddenly gone, he has a much stronger set of lungs, a whole 2 hours of breath holding! Along with that, he can swim at a much faster speed, much faster then the average pokemon, can attack with much more power, talk clearly underwater, and as something the marowak has always wanted, can freely fly in the air as if he was a flying type!
Hearing all those amazing powers made the marowak flip in the water with joy, he couldnt be happier, zooming around the place with his new speed.
"Remember, with great power, comes great responsibility, great job again and I hope our paths will cross again soon"
With a flash the fish god and marowak disappear, with the marowak reappearing on the beach. He had to stand there for a moment in total shock on everything that just happened.
He was definitely gonna try his new aquatic powers out soon, but for now he starts to take off into the air, having to not even think about it, this was definitely gonna surprise everyone as he laughs joyfully, clutching his bone club as he soars away.

An Instant Stress Reliever

Poor Stella has had a rough day today, so shes gonna spend some time at a relaxing place to take her mind off everything

After a very stressful day today and getting into a fight that she didnt wanna be a part of, Stella the Mew decided to go to a relaxing spa area to finally relax after what she had to go through.
This particular spa she was going to was fully underwater, but the waters were always kept warm and soothing, so even if the person was so nervous about being underwater, these waters were designed to very much instantly calm down the person.
The way to enter it was through a visble door up top with a sign that says that the spa was down here, so with Stella wearing goggles she takes some deep breaths before holding one in and opening the door before diving down into the water below.
As soon as Stella sinked down far enough to get to the main area of the underwater spa, her stress levels immediately went out the door, she instantly calm down from the waters, even tho they looked like they were just normal warm waters, something about these waters were really calming down Stella, it seemed like they were infused with some kind of calming potion.
Stella couldnt help but sigh out some bubbles softly, her eyes closing for a moment to take it all in, a smile on her face as she did so. She was already feeling so much better then before.
After taking in the warm waters for a while, Stella then swam down to check out some of the features of this place, there was a bunch of different areas, there was a section of the spa where the water was even hotter, but it felt so nice you could barely even tell the temperature of it. There was a cozy area to the right of that where you could just take a nap in the waters. And finally if you wanted to take a nice relaxing swim, there was another section filled with all kinds of very friendly aquatic creatures that makes you feel right at home. Of course whenever you needed a breather, there were air pockets all over the place so you can catch your breath whenever you need to.
Stella decided to check out the hot area of the spa, swimming over to it. She hadn't blushed yet and was still pretty calm and as soon as she entered the much hotter waters, it was like being in a hot tub while underwater, which was also pretty relaxing.
She sits down on the bottom, getting comfortable for a while as she lets the warm waters sooth her body. It had such powerful magic that it makes Stella feel so at ease, her face was even blushing yet.
Stella continues this for a while, a whole 20 minutes in this hot tub like area and she still hadn't blushed yet, she was still really relaxed, and she was all alone which stella didnt mind, a just lets out some small bubbles from her nose every now and then.
Occasionally one of the workers of the spa checks on Stella every now and then, but other then that, she was still relaxed.
She finally started to blush after 25 more minutes submerged, thanks to being a mythical and practicing often, Stella has a very impressive breath holding record, so shes able to last a while.
Deciding shes had enough in this area, Stella heads out and finds a nearby air pocket to swim into and gasp for air a little. She wasnt gonna push herself too much today since all she wanted was to relax.
She then makes her way to the friendly aquatic creatures area, and inside it were a few finizens, vapereons, and even an Inteleon in the middle of it all. Immediately one of the Finizens greeted Stella, giving her a big hug. These creatures were some of the friendliest ones ever, and stella was more the excited to interact with them all.
The inteleon seems to be the guard over all the pokemon in this room, making sure they get air when they need it, but they were still super friendly regardless.
Stella soon swam alongside her new friends, the room was fairly big, so she had plenty of room to swim around and just have fun. She ends up playing tag with several of the finizens and even gets a chance to ride on a Vapereon's back.
They had a little fake coral reef area in the distance, complete with realistic looking seaweed and coral. Stella smiled at it, she liked the little details that they have added to this place.
A few of the finizens nudge Stella to get her attention and gesture for her to come sit down. She happily does so, beginning to blush a little bit again. The finizens told Stella to stay there while everyone else seems to be whispering something to each other.
When the conversation was over, they all eventually started to swim around Stella, including the Inteleon, humming some sort of sweet tune as they did so. Stella didnt know what was happening, but whatever it was it seemed cute. The finizens and Vapereons all circle Stella protectively, as if she was the most important thing in this room. Stella was definitely pretty happy about this, they all had so much care for the Mew, she didnt know what she did to deserve this special treatment, but she didnt question it.
After a while of this, Stella's face turns more red and when the inteleon saw this, they immediately blow a bubble for her to breathe from, which she gratefully takes, inhaling it slowly and her face returning to normal.
She then started to grow sleepy, so this was the perfect opportunity to go and sleep in the napping area of the spa. She then told everyone she was leaving, and while they were sad they understood, giving her a big group hug before she leaves.
Swimming to the nap corner of the spa, shes greeted by serveral pillows and even blankets there, a few pokemon were in there taking a nap too, so she finds a nice comfy area to take a snooze. With how great her breath holding is, stella had no problems sleeping underwater, she'll likely wake up before anything bad happens.
Laying on a pillow and pulling a blanket to her body, Stella immediately closes her eyes and slowly drifts off to sleep, a content puffy cheeked smile on her face as small bubbles escape her nostrils while she had a peaceful slumber.

Desperate for a win

When one of the two brothers always wins at breath holding contests, the other one comes up with a plan to finally win one of these

Two pokemon brothers, Pichu and Pikachu, have always been rivals with each other, always trying to one up each other in all sorts of different things. The one thing they really compete in was breath holding underwater. They both get really competitive when they try to beat each other. But everytime this happens, the pikachu always ends up winning, and it always makes the pichu so mad.
But not this time, the pichu had a plan, and while this was technically cheating, he was tired of constantly losing to his brother, so behind the Pikachu's back they went ahead and purchased a rebreather, so whenever he needs to breathe he could use that.
So the two brothers went ahead and headed over to a pool so they could do another breath holding contest, that the Pikachu knows that they are gonna win.
Both of them wear goggles and headed towards the deeper end of the pool, ready to jump in as soon as they both started deeply breathing, which they did so.
The pichu was smirking playfully with himself, knowing this time around, he isnt gonna lose. So with a final deep breath from the both of them, they dive underwater and head for the deepest part of the pool, about 60 feet down.
The two of them soon sit down and closed their eyes, trying to focus on not losing too much air as the contest begins. Only a few bubbles leave the two for a while, Pichu has been practicing a little since the last contest, but its still nowhere near enough to fully beat Pikachu.
As time goes on, Pichu's face turns red and Pikachu's face hasnt blushed yet, Pichu tries his best to stay calm as time slowly ticked on by, Pikachu was fully calm and under no strain at all.
Finally when the Pichu's face was fully red and almost blue about 8 minutes in, he opens his eyes and looks over at Pikachu whos eyes were still closed and not blushing still. Quickly the pichu brings out his rebreather and puts it in his mouth, breathing the air inside deeply, his face slowly returning to normal colors. Then he quietly takes a deep breath and holds it before putting the rebreather away and hoping the Pikachu didn't get suspicious.
Luckily tho he didnt, his eyes were closed the whole time, his face now turning red in the process as double digits hit. Time continues by, Pikachu now showing more and more strain, grunting a little from it too.
Pichu basically continues what he was doing and rebreathing the air he loses in the rebreather, and on one moment, the Pikachu opened his eyes to look at Pichu, noticing their face still hasnt become red yet! That actually made the Pikachu worried, he did know that Pichu practiced, but not this much!
Pikachu was in disbelief for a moment as their face slowly turns blue, for the first time ever he was gonna lose, and he never lost a single breath holding contest!
The contest continues on, and eventually Pikachu couldnt take it anymore, he wasnt used to feeling so low on breath so he quickly swims up to the surface, covering his mouth.
The pichu meanwhile giggles out bubbles as his face goes red once again, he stops to rebreathe from the regulator again before he too swims up to the surface, calming exhaling when he gets to the top, which also made the Pikachu's eyes go wide in complete disbelief, that was more then half an hour underwater and the Pichu didnt strain at all!
Pikachu wasn't having it, so the two decided to have a rematch, they prepared themselves once again and dove back down to the bottom, Pikachu wasnt gonna let this slide!
Once settled on the bottom again, the two closed their eyes and started their rematch, the pikachu really making sure to stay focused this time around.
10 minutes go by and the pichu does the same thing, rebreathing from the regulator when he was feeling low, and when the Pikachu sees the pichu wasnt straining yet, he was still in shock. But something felt off, so the Pikachu decided to do something. He pretended to close his eyes for a bit and when the Pichu gets low on breath again, he pulls out the rebreather, and thats when Pikachu opens his eyes and caught Pichu in the act!
Pichu immediately blushes as he was caught, and Pikachu shakes his head before the two surfaced. He couldn't believe his little brother would cheat like that. While Pichu said he was sorry, Pikachu playfully shook his head and dunked him underwater, which Pichu immediately surfaced, then dunked Pikachu. The two ended up going at it for a while, even Pikachu dragging Pichu underwater and making him struggle for a while. But don't worry he never actually hurt him, but warned him that if he did this kind of thing again, the consequences would be much more severe.

Halloween costume contests are always really fun, but what happens when you combine one of the popular trends for people dressing up with being underwater? Well this is the result

Halloween is here once again, and for most pokemon, trick or treating is their number 1 priority, but for others, costume contests are their number 1 priority, and this year, the costume contests are gonna be a little different this time around
You see, the contest is being held in an underwater stadium, and the idea is, everyone is gonna try their best to hold their breath in character, so whoever they are wearing as a costume, you have to try and mimic the way they would hold their breath underwater as best as possible.
A couple of judges were there already, and they were Mewtwo, Latios, and a Blastoise, Mewtwo being the most strict and Blastoise being the most lax in terms of being a judge.
Now we just had to wait until the contest began, lots of pokemon were scrambling to find the best costume to show off, and to make sure its waterproof as well obviously.
Eventually the clock strikes 8pm, which is when the contest is being held, serveral pokemon were heading to the ocean to swim down to the stadium, we see a few familar faces heading down, Zippy the Grovyle is dressed up as Sonic like last year, Charmy the Charmander is actually Mewtwo this year, she even made a long purple tail to go with it, and she painted her stomach purple, along with adjusting a few more things to make her really look like mewtwo.
Glacier the glaceon is a witch this year, complete with a hat and broomstick, and even I was in this contest, dressing up as my favorite pokemon, Squirtle, and wearing a cute adorable onesie of him.
Everyone makes their way down to the stadium, it was pretty deep, but most of us were able to handle it fine, even tho I was a little nervous, but I try my best to not show that.
Once all of us went down to the bottom where the large stadium was, everyone headed inside, there was a place to line up as they were gonna judge each performance one by one.
Charmy was feeling the most excited about this, she knew she had a pretty good chance at getting 1st place, Glacier was feeling a little scared but feels pretty confident too, I was also feeling nervous, but since I was squirtle I had to put on a brave face, since squirtle wouldnt normally be afraid of the water. And of course, Zippy was feeling confident too.
So the contest begins, serveral pokemon did their performances and got some really good scores, mewtwo mainly being the one who tanks their score, but it was still fairly good.
After a bit, it was Zippy's turn to perform, and instead of swimming out, he actually decided to walk on the bottom instead, since Sonic normally can't swim, he also blew out a lot of bubbles before hand since sonic cant hold his breath very long. He faces the judges with a roll of his eyes then says
"Ublgh, gblreat, I hblate thble wblater, tblails bebletter nblot sblteal mbly bubble ablgain!"
This caused some giggles from the Blastoise and even the Latios, then Zippy sits down, crosses his arms and pouts, making it seem like he was not happy to be holding his breath underwater.
The judges were impressed as they watched Zippy hold his breath, he had a fully red face but he was mainly ok. After a bit he started pretending to frantically look around for a bubble
"I sblwear, iblf Tblails sbltole mbly bubble agblain..."
Then after 3 minutes, Zippy presses a hidden button that nobody saw, and Sonic's drowning theme starts playing on the waterproof speakers!
Zippy then pretended to be very scared as the countdown music played, it actually caused the blastoise to get worried for Zippy, even tho this was just an act, thats how good it was.
When the timer ran out, zippy blew out a lot of bubbles and collapsed on the ground, closing his eyes as if he drowned.
The crowd behind the line all clapped in the performance, even the judges did as well, including Mewtwo, who simply nodded. Zippy then gets up and covers his mouth before bowing
Zippy's score then shows, Blastoise gave him a 9.5/10, Latios gave him a 8/10, and Mewtwo gave a 6.5/10, gibing Zippy a total score of 24. Zippy then heads back, he was on the podium for now.
Next it was Charmy's turn, and Charmy swims out, feeling extremely calm and relaxed. She floats peacefully in front of the judges, and all 3 of them were shocked to see not only a fire type underwater, but one thats calm and super relaxed.
Under no strain at all, Charmy sits down in a meditation pose, closing her eyes and fully calm. Mewtwo was probably the most impressed out of all of the judges, this is exactly how he meditates underwater.
Blastoise keeps tracks of how long charmy has been like this, and even as 25 minutes hit, Charmy was still calm and barely under any strain. The crowd watching was also in disbelief of all this.
Soon, after 45 minutes underwater like this, charmy's face is fully red and eventually she opens her eyes, but instead of panicking, she calmly covers her mouth and looks at the judges once again, pointing up as if saying she was gonna head to get air, then she calmly swims away, grabbing a nearby bubble and inhaling it before swimming back, bowing as her performance was done.
Everyone cheers, mewtwo even claps for the first time today, and now the scores were posted. Blastoise gave her a 10/10, he loved it. Latios gave a 8.5/10, and Mewtwo gave a 9.5/10, the highest score mewtwo gave all night, giving Charmy a total score of 28, and that very much puts her in the lead.
Next was Glacier, as he rides on the broomstick he had over to the judges, giving a bubbly evil giggle. Then he uses a wand he brought to make some complicated gestures with it in the water, as if he was making some potions, all the while he was holding his breath seriously.
His face turned red, but he wasnt gonna let that stop him as he kept going. Eventually tho he kind of ran out of tricks to do so he simply ended his performance there, and some of the crowd clapped and the scoring was posted. Blastoise gave a 7/10, Latios gave a 7.5/10 and Mewtwo gave a 4.5/10, giving Glacier a total score of 19, not too bad, and glacier swam away to fo breathe.
Finally, it was my turn, and I swam in with full confidence despite my scared self trying to hold me back. I gave all 3 judges a paper that basically said im normally super scared of diving, but today I was brave, just like a squirtle is.
I floated there with a look of bravery as I confidently gave a thumbs up to the judges, despite my red face I was fully focused on the task of staying nice and calm.
The judges could tell that I was definitely normally afraid of the water, but was very proud of facing my fears head on, even mewtwo nodded in approval.
As time went on and I get lower on breath, I covered mouth for a moment and was thinking about leaving since I didnt wanna push myself, but I wanted to try and win the competition so I gave a look of confidence to the judge and no fear was shown.
Eventually as my face turned bluer then normal i couldnt hold in my fear any more and swam away for a moment to find a bubble to inhale before returning. I gave a bubbly "Ta-da!" to the judges and they clapped for me, clearly proud of my bravery as a Squirtle, and a great effort.
The scoring then happened, Blastoise giving me a 10/10 for my bravery, Latios giving 9/10, and Mewtwo giving a 7.5/10, giving me a total score of 26.5!
The rest of the crowd had their turns, but eventually it was time to announce the results. In 3rd place was Zippy, in 2nd place was me, and in 1st place was Charmy!
All 3 of us got some pretty cool prizes for our podium finishes, and so halloween costume contest comes to a close, but it was definitely a halloween to remember forever.
