Rare, more like legendary

A super rare piece of jewelry had ended up at an underwater museum that only allows exclusive people into it for safety, and even this Gallade wasnt one of them, he was still determined to get in and see this thing

A very long time ago, many centuries ago, a rare piece of jewelry that was once on a very famous pokemon that not only was a very rare species of it, but is also the only pokemon that had 3 different types! There was only one of this type of pokemon in the whole world and they were pretty famous for it.
This pokemon was a Grass, Water AND Fire type, all 3 of those all at once! That piece of jewelry that they had on had a super rare kind of diamond and is made with the most expensive material known to pokemon kind. So this was a pretty big deal.
However one stormy night while this pokemon was on a ship, a giant wave suddenly washed over it causing the rare pokemon to go flying in the air and that piece of super rare jewelry fell off of them and into the deep water, sinking down many meters below it.
A lot had happened to it during that time, some of the aquatic creatures living underwater kept it for a while.
Now today that now ancient piece of jewelry worn by the 3 type pokemon had found its way to an underwater museum that was recently built around 2 years ago, but only a few exclusive people can access it since its full of such rare valuables and someone could easily steal something.
But that wasnt gonna stop this Gallade from trying to go inside this museum because he's done his research on where this rare piece of jewelry is and he wants to see it for themselves in person.
After some preparation for the dive ahead, the Gallade knew they were likely gonna be pushing themselves so they could finally see this rare piece of jewelry
They spend weeks preparing for this, practicing their breath holding at home in their pool and their swimming, and now they were finally ready to see this treasure in the depths of the water below.
Grabbing goggles they head above where this museum was in the water, taking some deep breaths as they prepare for the dive ahead. Eventually after a few more the Gallade hold their breath and dive underwater, swimming down deeper and deeper beneath the waters.
The museum was pretty far down so it was definitely gonna be a hefty swim, but the Gallade was prepared, he even brought a rebreather with him to give him a little extra air if he absolutely needed it.
His impressive lungs can last about 30 minutes on a single breath, so the Gallade thinks this would be more then enough. As the trip down continues, the waters slowly start to dim a little and soon enough, the museum is now visble and the gallade rushes down to it.
But there was someone out front, likely making sure no one else gets in besides the people that are allowed in. The Gallade was determined to see this rare piece if jewelry for themselves so they try to find a way to sneak in.
Soon enough, he finds a back entrance to the museum and it was actually opened a little! Excited the Gallade swam in after carefully opening the door. His face was turning red but he feels ok for the moment.
He covers his mouth and nose so no bubbles leave him and give away his location, unfortunately for him tho there were security cameras around, but he just hopes that they dont spot him early.
The Gallade soon swims past some artifact rooms to find where this rare piece of jewelry was, it was a little complicated to find, having to navigate tricky turns to avoid bumping into more of the fragile treasures.
Eventually after a little bit of swimming around he finally gets to where the rare piece of treasure is located. It was completely covered in glass, wanting to protect it. The piece of jewelry looking like a bracelet of something kind.
It was fully protected, nobody was gonna be getting in there anytime soon, but the gallade was able to look at it at least, and it was quite cool. That thing could easily be worth millions of dollars if not more, even tho he knows shouldnt do it, the thought of selling it for that amount of money sounds too good to be true.
It would probably be too complicated to do it alone, so for now he didnt bother, the gallade then took a breath from his rebreather and just decided to explore more of the museum instead.
The place had all kinds of neat items, from paintings, to fashion, it had it all, and the Gallade was very much invested in looking at it all.
However, time slowly goes by and he's almost gotten caught by the guards working there multiple times, but managed to avoid them without much problem. The gallade took breaths from his rebreather whenever he needed air.
As he came back to look at the piece of rare jewelry again, this time, a black anthro lizard spotted him and since he didnt recognize them, they immediately started to chase the gallade! Quickly the gallade swam away as fast as they could with the lizard behind and gaining on them!
The gallade just couldnt find a way out since he forgot where he ended from, and with no time left to spare he had to just hide somewhere. Thankfully finding a spot to go into, the gallade keeps quiet as the lizard guard searches the area thoroughly. Once he didnt find anything the lizard goes away.
Relieved, the gallade snuck out of his spot and started to leave, finally finding the place he entered from. But before he did, a Blastoise was blocking his way forward, having noticed the Gallade on the cameras, however while they were pretty upset, they understood why the gallade did what they did and decided to let them off with a warning, they were definitely one of the chill guards. Happy that he managed to escape, the gallade starts to swim for the surface with a red face, and eventually he surfaces with a gasp, he was pretty happy he got to explore that cool museum, and the fact that he got extremely lucky, that could have ended badly for the poor thing.
Regardless the gallade swims back to shore and takes off his goggles. He was definitely gonna be coming back, but maybe with a buddy next time so he had reinforcements to get that very rare piece of jewelry he saw.

Theme: Hotel
When a pokemon is making a 2 day long trek to their grandparents house, they have to stop for the night to rest, but the only thing available was a 1 star underwater hotel, how will this play out?

Going to see his grandparents that he hasnt seen in a while, a cyclizar was making a trip over there, however there was one problem. He barely had any money and it wasnt enough for transportation and even tho they were technically transportation themselves, they dont have a ton of stamina, so that means had to make the entire trip by foot, and go at a much slower pace, and with how far away they live, it would take 2 whole days just to get there, right now the Cyclizar was almost halfway there on the first day, but it was getting late so he has to stop for the night and go sleep somewhere.
Obviously the Cyclizar doesnt wanna be sleeping in the woods, especially late in the day, and besides he loves a good comfy bed. So with his cheap looking phone he does a quick search on where the nearest place he could stay would be, and if its at a cheap enough price that he could say in just for he night.
However, the only place that was currently in his vicinity, was a little 2 story hotel that seems like it was in the middle of nowhere. But upon closer inspection, the cyclizar sees that said hotel, was actually underwater in the nearest lake! Well that wasnt part of the plan at all, but he does like a good dive from time to time, so maybe this wouldnt be all bad? Maybe he'll still get to breathe when he gets there?
As he looked into the hotel a bit more, the cyclizar sees that its 1 star hotel, its got terrible reviews. One says that the lake to get to the hotel is filthy and murky, and you could barely even see, even with goggles. Another says that the beds are so uncomfortable that its almost impossible to get any sleep. Then there was that says the rooms are not kept up to date and theres always fish that swim into the rooms to bother you.
The price was $20 a night, and the Cyclizar thankfully has just enough money to afford it, and as much as he doesnt want to be in that terrible one star hotel, he had no choice.
So he makes his way over to where the hotel is located, thankfully he had some goggles on him just in case he wanted to take a break and dive in a lake. The cyclizar soon puts them on and gets to the lake, and the reviews were right, the waters in this lake were super murky, it looked like this lake hasnt be touched in years. Regardless the cyclizar had a job to do, he wades into the lake, clearly uncomfortable, the smell of it wasnt pleasent either.
Soon the Cyclizar gets above where the hotel is located, and after taking some deep breaths he holds one in and dives underwater, swimming down deeper to get to where the hotel is located.
The cyclizar has about an 10 and a half minute breath hold, which isnt that bad, so he thinks he has plenty of time to get to where he needs to be, however, navigating these waters were a lot tougher then he thought, with how incredibly murky the waters were, he has a very hard time seeing, even with his goggles on, so much so sometimes he would bump into a wall or a rock without even realizing, which would cause him to lose some air in the process. As he makes his way down his face was going red, but the Cyclizar thinks he still has plenty of time.
As he kept swimming, the cyclizar pinched his nose shut when they get pretty deep down, about 100 feet down, feeling the little bit of the pressure down here. There were a little fish down here but not a whole lot, most of them seemingly to have gone away to another part of the water. However what the Cyclizar didnt realize is that he didnt even realize that he's passed the hotel, it was that murky that he didnt see it, and he swam right past it!
Now after about 30 more unnecessary feet down deeper, his whole face fully red, something didnt seem right, there was no way the hotel was down this deep. Luckily even tho the cyclizar has a pretty cheap phone, it was still waterproof, so he takes it out and goes to the website where the hotel is being advertised. Soon he sees that the place is roughly about 100 feet underwater.
Now the Cyclizar wasnt the best at calculating depths, but an app that came on his phone tells the user how far down you are underwater, he never uses that app but nows a best time as ever to use it.
His face was a little blue now and the cyclizar grunts in strain, trying his best to ignore his burning lungs as he opened the app. It took a while to load, since he was using an old device, but after what felt like an eternity it finally loaded, the apps said he was 132 feet underwater, meaning he had already passed the hotel by 30 feet!
Facepalming, he uses his phone to help guide him back up to where the hotel was located, by now his face was fully blue and bubbles were slowly leaking from his mouth. Eventually the cyclizar finally makes it to 100 feet, looking around a little closely and finally finds the hotel in the distance after some searching around!
Swimming towards it eagerly, the cyclizar hopes and prays that he'll get air inside the place. As he gets inside and swims to the front desk, behind it was an anthro anglerfish, who clearly looked like they didnt wanna be here.
After telling them for one room for one night, the anglerfish rolls their eyes before the cyclizar hands him the money, lucky that he has enough. After getting a room key, the cyclizar kindly asked if there was air in this place, and that just makes the anglerfish groan in frustration before he gestures to a room down the hall of the main area where the air is.
Quickly swimming to it and surfacing in an small air pocket, the cyclizar gasps loudly, however he wasnt fully refreshed, the air in here was stale and not fresh at all, thats how not up to date this hotel was! He basically had to float there and take in stale breaths of air, and it wasnt very easy to breathe from. Having only reduced his blush to fully red, the cyclizar knew he couldnt inhale anymore of this air, and with a deep gasp he plunges back down and heads to the room.
He was in a room on the 1st floor and he turns the key gently and slowly opens it up, the inside definitely looked run down, but he just had to make the best of it. The cyclizar quickly looks around, he had a small bathroom, a bed that looks descent in size, and a little nightstand. He quickly gets into bed, but he soon realizes that theres no way of getting air while he sleeps. The cyclizar literally had to sleep underwater. With how low on breath he was, the cyclizar didnt think he would survive the night, but he had to try.
Laying in the bed, he pinches his nose shut agaon and closes his eyes, trying his absolute hardest to drift off to sleep. All night he would toss and turn, barely able to sleep for even an hour. Unfortunately he did take in some water while sleeping, swallowing it thankfully, but that wasnt gonna sit well in his stomach later on with how dirty it was. His face was flushing purple, it was about 4am in the morning, and the Cyclizar couldnt take it anymore, he ends up waking up and fully gasping in water, despite his efforts to cover his nose and mouth, it wasnt working and he was slowly inhaling the dirty water around him.
There was a little emergency button on the nightstand and with barely enough energy and weakly panting water, the cyclizar manages pushes it and the front desk gets a notification that something went wrong.
All the cyclizar could see was the anglerfish rushing over to his room before he ends up passing out.
45 minutes later, the cyclizar suddenly wakes up and coughs out a lot of the water, he sees the anglerfish that has managed to save his life, they were holding their own breath since they couldnt breathe air, they still looked annoyed at all this, but deep down they were concerned about the cyclizar.
He had barely survived, and it was still late, so with nothing left to lose the cyclizar takes his goggles off and continues his trek to his grandparents house and hopes nothing else bad will happen, he'll sure have quite a story to tell them when he eventually gets there. The anglerfish went back underwater meanwhile, another 1 star review is likely gonna be coming his way.

Nobody wants this to happen in real life
Theme: Accident
After suffering a long day at work, this pokemon was driving themselves back home, but will everything end up going smoothly?

Coming home from a long day at work was a Cinderace. She was exhausted from the day she had, her boss gave her such a hard time today, having to do overtime, she even had to submerge in lava at one point for a task, and despite being a fire type, she hates doing that.
Regardless the Cinderace was glad it was all over, and now she was driving home in her nice red car, she bought this for herself not that long ago, since she was one of the approved pokemon to use a vehicle, the cinderace definitely took advantage of using it, her feet were soo tired from the day and it was nice to just relax.
Everything seems pretty normal for a while, until suddenly the car seems to be having a mind of its own and for some odd reason, she couldnt control the car anymore! And it couldnt have come at a worse possible time, since there was a bridge up ahead that they had to cross, but it didnt seem like the car wanted to cross the bridge.
The cinderace tries her best to regain control of the vehicle, but no matter what she did, nothing happened and before she knew it, the car drove off the cliff and was now plummeting down, towards a raging rushing river down below!
Immediately the Cinderace screams for help, nobody coming to her rescue tho, was this car taunting her and knew that water was her only weakness? She tried to get out of her seatbelt, but it seems like it was stuck! The car then eventually splashes into the river below, which actually looks a lot deeper then it looks.
Now full on panicking, the Cinderace now really tries her best to escape the belt thats keeping her in, but even if she did she didnt have any of those fancy window breakers that can shatter them with one tap, so how will she get out of this? The rivers carried the car along the way, the currents so powerful that it could push the heavy vehicle along!
The car then slowly starts to sink below the water after a bit, and now the cinderace was in deep trouble. Struggling against the seatbelt, she kept trying to break herself free, but even still she couldnt do it! By the time the car was fully underwater, everything had stopped working, the engine, the windows, all of it.
Water slowly started to fill the space inside of it, and if theres one thing the cinderace hates more then anything, its water. But it seems like she had no other option but to start deeply breathing. Thankfully since she had to go under lava for work sometimes, she has a pretty decent breath holding record of about 10 minutes, so she had a good amount of time to get this figured out.
With a final breath, the waters then rush over the cinderace's head and now she tightly holds in her breath, her cheeks puffing up and whimpering a little.
The car kept sinking deeper into the cold depths of the river, dragging the poor cinderace along for the ride. She continues to struggle in her seatbelt, she had to get this thing off eventually, but how?
Eventually the car sinks to its bottom, thankfully not as deep as the cinderace thought at about 50 or so below the water. The cinderace had a red face so she had to get out of here and now. After trying something with the seatbelt, the cinderace finally manages to take it off! However her danger was far from over, she still had to escape it. Looking around the cinderace tries to find something sharp to use to break open a window, obviously using the door wont work with all that water outside keep them shut, so she had to find another way around.
She then tries using her elbow to try and break it open, but nothing happened, she even punched it, and nothing happened. She couldnt use her fire powers if she wanted to since the water would likely put it out before any damage is done. What is this, the strongest piece of glass in existence or what?
The car was pretty much continuing to taunt her even after sinking all the way here. With her face flushing fully red, the cinderace was running out of options, she even looked in the trunk of the car to see if theres anything she could use, but no luck.
Finally tho after gaining a blue blush, the cinderace looks in her glove department and find a piece of metal that looked fairly big, this could probably help in taking down the windows.
With nothing to lose, the cinderace then starts attacking the wall with the piece of medal and just, hope and pray. Luckily tho, the medal was slowly causing the window to crack and after multiple swings at it, it finally shatters!
Still, the cinderace had basically no time left to spare, with her face slowly gaining a full blue blush and feeling her lungs are on fire, she quickly squeezes herself through the now broke window, making sure she doesnt accidentally cut herself. Once she did she bolts up towards the surface above, thankfully it was still in view.
For a fire type, she could swim fairly fast, and once her face went purple a little, she finally breaks the surface and gasps for air heavily, however her work wasnt done yet, she still had to get out of the dangerous rushing river. Struggling to stay on the surface, the currently pulled her back down again, and she was barely able to gasp a breath before that happened. The cinderace pushed herself back up, spitting out some water before the currents drag her back down pretty quickly.
It was clear staying above the surface was not an option, and having not gotten very good breaths her face was still fully red. With no other option she continues to swim just below the surface, covering her mouth. Eventually she bumps into what looks like a giant rock, maybe she could climb this and get back up? With her face slowly turning blue again the cinderace climbs up the large rock and breaks the surface once again, this time tho she's able to hold on tight even as the waters continue to rush along.
Soon she climbs to the top of it, taking a second to recover fully as her blush slowly fades away. Finally she was out of the water and with careful steps the cinderace gets back to dryland on a path.
After all that + a tough day a work, the cinderace was mentally drained, she was definitely gonna be complaining to the car company on what happened, but for now the cinderace trudged along the path back home to take a nap and recover her strength, before she would do anything else.

Never gonna give up

When a brave pokemon dives deep and meets a whale who is significantly better at breath holding then them, they agreed to a do a breath holding contest, but will the pokemon even come close to beating the whale?

On a dive one afternoon, a brave little Snivy was diving deep into the ocean, his little nose pinched shut as he dove down. This little guy has done a few dives in the past, but has only managed to get about a 7 minute breath hold, but he didnt mind such a small breath hold, at least for now.
He looks around the place happily, the snivy really enjoys being underwater, a big smile was on his face as he continues his journey downwards. His face was turning red but he ignores it for now, too focused on having fun underwater.
The snivy eventually sinks down to stand on the bottom, with a cliff overlooking the deeper parts of the water. He then sits down on the edge of the cliff, gazing out at the deep sea ahead. The snivy sighs out bubbles contentedly, enjoying the views while he can as his lungs eventually started complaining.
Deciding to take a break from his underwater adventure, the snivy looks around the place for any air, not really wanting to swim all the way back up with how deep he was. But he couldnt really find anything.
That is until he comes across a huge whale, that makes the snivy feel even smaller then he already was, interestingly enough this whale was actually anthro, and yet they were that big. It makes the snivy really scared, worried that the whale wasnt gonna be friendly, but he needed to breathe, so with no other option he decided to just go over and ask them for help.
Tapping on their shoulder lightly, which the snivy had to swim up a little to do that, he gets the whale's attention, and when the whale turned to face the snivy, they actually smiled a little at the sight little guy being all the way down, even a little shocked to see them all the way down here.
When the snivy told the whale that he needed to breathe, the whale didnt hesitate to help them out, and leads them to where they can find an air pocket or bubble. The whale leads them to a fairly big cave that they somehow missed, where they can get air, and once they got inside they surface inside it and gasp heavily, while the whale just exhales to breathe normally, clearly having a pretty impressive hold.
As the snivy catches their breath, he thanks the whale for help, but now he slowly started to get an idea, he wants to have a breath holding contest with the whale, and as he said that the whale was definitely really shocked to hear that, they reminded the snivy of their impressive 3 hour long breath hold and that he wouldnt even have to compete hard against the snivy to win.
But the snivy was persistent, he thinks he could catch the whale off guard and last pretty long, even tho he knows that he has a pretty low breath holding record. With that in mind, the whale eventually agrees, and that he'll keep an eye on the snivy in case he ends up pushing it too far.
The snivy soon takes some deep breathes to prepare his lungs for the dive, while the whale doesnt, not needing to since they knows they will win reguardless.
With a final breath from the snivy he holds it in tight then ducks back underwater, and soon the whale does the same after one single breath. The snivy swims out of the cave and finds a cozy spot near the air pocket to sit down and try his best to stay calm. The whale swims over to sit beside him, the snivy's cheeks were puffed but not the whale's, perfectly calm as the time slowly ticks by.
Even tho the snivy knows hes probably not gonna win any of these, he wasnt gonna let that stop him. He relaxes as much as he could despite already having a red face only 3 minutes in.
He relaxes as much as possible, while the whale watches the snivy calmly, not even letting bubbles loose, seeing how long the snivy is gonna last on the first try.
As time slowly ticks by, his face turns blue, and eventually he couldnt hold his breath any longer, and soon goes for the cave, while the whale hasnt blushed at all yet, still ways away from that.
The snivy swims to the air pocket and surfaces in it, the whale soon doing the same to make sure the snivy was ok. After surfacing in it, the snivy gets really determined to at least cause the whale's face to go a little red, so he asked to go again, which the whale agreed.
After preparing, the snivy and whale dive back down and sit back in their spot, seeing how long the snivy will last this time. A look of determination crosses the snivy as he tries his best to stay calm.
But unfortunately, the same results apply and he was just barely able to pass his previous record this time around, and it was really hard to do so. The snivy and whale surface again after that, the snivy gasping for air heavily. But even then he was STILL determined to at least get the whale's face red during the time they were underwater.
So they do round, after round, after round of breath holding contests, each time the snivy beats his record by a little bit at a time, however he got close to inhaling water a few times. By now they have done breath holding contests for an hour straight, and the whale soon said that he was gonna allow one more attempt before they have to get going.
The snivy was now more determined then ever before to finally get the whale to even a slightly red face. With that in mind he prepares one last time before they submerge underwater. The snivy was determined to stay relaxed, keeping his nose and mouth tightly shut.
The whale watches on as always, seeing if this was really the attempt this time around. As the minutes slowly tick by the snivy's face was red again after about 6 minutes, but was still going strong. But 4 more minutes later, his face was turning blue, and unfortunately the whale still hadn't blushed yet, however not wanting the snivy to feel bad since this was the last attempt, they do at least let some bubbles out slowly while the snivy's eyes were closed. The whale blows out enough bubbles to make their face turn a little red, that should be enough to get the snivy happy.
When the snivy finally opens his eyes again, he turns to the whale and sees the red face, immediately his tail starts to wag happily and his face lights up, while the whale chuckles out some bubbles, the snivy thinks he did it, that he gotten the whale to a slightly red face. However as his face goes purple he quickly swims for the air pocket, as does the whale and they both surface, with the snivy gasping heavily and the whale gasping just a little. The two look at each other with a smile before hugging, however the snivy didnt really want to leave the whale just yet, he was having too much fun with them.
The whale soon decided that the snivy could tag along, they just couldnt stay here, and he could give them air whenevwr they needed it. With the snivy wagging his tail again, he prepares one more time before the two dive and swim away from the cave, the whale gesturing the snivy to follow. And so the two of them spend the rest of the day hanging out, swimming side by side and even going even deeper to explore the dark depths.

Don't even wanna bother with it anymore

Having done pretty much every kind of fun activity there is, this Feraligatr didn't know what else he was gonna do anymore, so maybe he could find something to entertain himself

At this point in life, this Feraligatr has pretty much done everything imaginable, explored the densed forest, travel all over the regions, and even swim in the deepest oceans. Now for the past year, he's gotten incredibly bored and he's done everything that was originally exciting to him.
Right now he was laying on his couch, trying to think of anything he hasnt done yet, he yawned as he was extremely bored, not knowing what he was gonna do today, he hasnt gone out in a while, so maybe the feraligatr could do something.
He felt like going for a swim, and with no other ideas in mind, the feraligatr gets up and finds a pair of goggles before putting them on. Now he was a water type so he doesnt really need them, but sometimes his eyes sting when he hasnt gone underwater in a long time, so its better to be safe then sorry.
As he heads over to the nearest ocean, he gazes at the water ahead, he's already seen this part of the ocean serveral times already, so this wasnt anything new to him.
He gets into the water and takes a few deep breaths, if he wanted to make this at least a little interesting, he'll probably just push himself, he does so anyways whenever he's diving underwater.
After a bit the feraligatr dives underwater after holding his breath and swims down pretty deep, with how bored he is he doesnt care how far away he is from the surface, and he just continues to go deeper and deeper.
Eventually he get to the edge of a trench, sitting down for a second to just chill, he sighs out bubbles as he was still really bored, the feraligatr had no idea what to do, even tho theres was a few fish around the area, nothing captured his eye.
His face wasnt even red yet, so he knew he had a long way to go. As he relaxes on the edge of the cliff for a while, gazing at the dark unknown beneath him, and knowing he still has lots of air he decided to go out and sink down in the dark trench, the pressure increasing little by little, but it hardly bothers the feraligatr.
As the feraligatr continues sinking, a scary shark comes up into view and bares their teeth at the feraligatr, almost as if it was getting ready to attack.
But the feraligatr simply rolls their eyes and bites the shark before he uppercuts them, knocking it out like it was nothing. Even just defeating that shark wasnt enough to make the feraligatr enjoy himself.
The feraligatr enters the most dangerous part of the trench, where all the toxic creatures are, and yet the feraligatr wasn't even fazed, even as their face turns red finally.
Finally he sinks to the bottom of the trench, not even worried that from one touch of these creatures ill probably instantly KO you.
He slowly walks along the bottom, trudging along as he pretends he cant swim now, even climbing over rocks and other things to keep going across.
Anytime a scary creature would try and scare him, he wouldnt even faze and proceed to just ignore them and continue on, he actually ends up blowing out some bubbles on his own, causing his face to grow even more red, but again he didnt care.
While there is a mysterious gap that the feraligatr almost tripped on, he didnt even bother trying to go investigate it, he just thinks that its probably gonna be something really boring and not worth his time at all.
The feraligatr continues to swimwalk and as his air gets lower and lower, he starts to think to himself that maybe it would be a good idea to just...let himself drown. After all he didnt have too many friends that he cared about, and his parents abandoned him a long time ago, so really he has nobody. So thats exactly what this Feraligatr was gonna do, he was gonna keep lazily exploring for as much as can before his lungs would give up on him.
Soon after meeting a very small fish that gave him a wave with their fin, the feraligatr climbs up a huge boulder and just sits on the top of it. For right now he just pushes himself as if he would on a normal dive, pinching his nose shut and trying to relax despite having a more blue face.
A few of the small little fish come over to watch him, along with one or two of the dangerous creatures, surprisingly enough they didnt attack the feraligatr and were just simply watching the way he held his breath.
As time goes by and in the quiet of the trench, the feraligatr grunts in strain as his face turns bluer then normal, he was starting to feel like his lungs were on fire, but he continues to delay the enviable and force himself to stay there.
Finally with his face growing purple, he decided enough was enough and the feraligatr was gonna just let himself go. He opens his mouth wide and inhales the water around him, which he immediately chokes on and starts grabbing at his neck. Thanks to being a water type, the feraligatr can inhale water much longer then the average person would.
Getting up from the rock, and taking in weak pants of water, the feraligatr walks along the sandy bottom again, the fish and other creatures having no idea what was happening.
The feraligatr struggles to stay awake, but he keeps it going, eventually his breathing calmed and a dopey smile was on his face, it seems as though he really liked the feeling of this.
Eventually after trudging for minutes upon minutes, the feraligatr finally collpased on the ground, the smile still on his face. He lived a happy live, and he was totally ok with this being the end. And so as he curled himself up one more time as if he was sleeping, he finally passes out completely as his lungs were full of water...

Or is it?
Nope, cause the feraligatr actually ended up being ok in the end, a dolphin who had been diving really deep found their drowned body and immediately came to the rescue of bring it up, and after doing CPR for a long time, the feraligatr woke up and coughed out water. But instead of being grateful for the dolphin's rescue, the feraligatr was more annoyed then anything, he was fine just letting himself go there, and yet he was still alive.
With a dismissive wave the feraligatr headed back to his home, he was just gonna have to find a more secluded area to do this instead. The dolphin was extremely concerned for the feraligatr meanwhile, but they think nothing of it as they dive back down.
