Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is one of the most meaningful traditions to me, and I made this drawing for an event but I also wanted to share it to all of you.
For those unfamiliar with this Mexican tradition, every November 1st and 2nd we remember and celebrate the lives of those who are no longer with us. We decorate altars with flowers, candles, food, and things our loved ones enjoyed, welcoming their memories back into our homes.
It's a beautiful reminder that even when someone is gone, they still have a place in our lives.
¡Feliz Día de Muertos!
