My husband likes to visit the area in our city centre that is the end of a canal on his lunch breaks, and appreciate the fine assortment of birds to be found there. Lately he has been particularly enjoying watching the cormorants, and has shared tales and photos/videos of their delightful antics. Here's a fine anthro example of one, wearing the logo of the local trust that helps look after the canal.
As an interesting little fact: cormorants and their relatives have all four toes webbed to give them a nice extra mobility in water, something I was keen to have reflected. This fellow's toes are arranged a bit more practically than his wild kin, if he ever wants to slip on some snazzy sandals. , who's dished up another cutie ^^ Of course, I knew that the first person to turn to for a bird character was the lovely https://www.furaffinity.net/user/sammfeatblueheart , who's dished up another cutie ^^
