🐺 Appearance
Lotus is an extremely tiny, 15-day-old wolf pup with soft, snowy-white fur decorated with chocolate-brown patches along her back, legs, chest, and tail.
Her most noticeable feature is her pair of bright green eyes, which give her an adorable and curious expression.
At only 10 inches (25 cm) tall, Lotus is still small enough to be carried around easily. Her paws are still oversized for her little body, and she is still developing the coordination of a growing puppy.
🌸 The Daughter of Midnight
Lotus was born to Midnight, the powerful True Werewolf who lived peacefully within her forest home.
Unlike her mother, however, Lotus is not a True Werewolf.
She is simply a completely natural wolf.
Lotus's father was also a normal wolf. Sadly, he died before Lotus was born after protecting Midnight and their future family.
Lotus never got the opportunity to meet him.
💔 Losing Her Mother
Lotus's life began with tragedy.
Only a few days after giving birth to her daughter, Midnight passed away.
Lotus was far too young to understand what had happened. She only knew that her mother was no longer there.
With both of her parents gone, Lotus was left needing someone to care for her.
That person became her grandfather.
☣️ SCP-049 — Her Grandfather
SCP-049 is Lotus's maternal grandfather, as Midnight was his daughter.
Despite his unusual nature, SCP-049 has taken responsibility for raising the tiny wolf pup.
Because Lotus was only days old when Midnight died, she required constant care.
SCP-049 began bottle-feeding Lotus, carefully making sure she received enough nourishment to grow.
He has become surprisingly protective of his granddaughter.
To SCP-049, Lotus isn't an experiment.
She's family.
🍼 Growing Up
Lotus is now beginning the process of being weaned off milk.
She is slowly learning to eat appropriate solid food for a growing wolf pup, meaning she won't need to rely on her bottle forever.
SCP-049 still keeps a close eye on her during feeding time, especially because Lotus is so young.
Sometimes she still wants her bottle even when she's supposed to be practicing eating on her own.
🌿 Completely Non-Anomalous
Despite being the granddaughter of SCP-049 and the daughter of a True Werewolf, Lotus is not anomalous.
She has:
❌ No supernatural powers
❌ No anomalous abilities
❌ No unusual healing
❌ No transformations
❌ No special abilities
❌ No connection to her grandfather's anomalous properties
She is simply a baby wolf.
Her small size, puppy behavior, and development are completely natural for her age.
🗣️ She Can't Speak
Lotus cannot speak human language.
She's only 15 days old, after all.
Instead, she communicates through normal puppy sounds such as:
🐺 Tiny whines
🐾 Little whimpers
💤 Soft noises when sleepy
❤️ Quiet squeaks when she wants attention
🍼 Small cries when she's hungry
SCP-049 has learned to recognize many of her different sounds.
⚠️ Severe Cologne Allergy
Lotus has one particularly important medical condition:
She is highly allergic to cologne.
Even small amounts can cause her to become sick, so everyone around her must be extremely careful.
Because Lotus is so young and vulnerable, SCP-049 takes her allergy very seriously.
Personnel at Site-19 are instructed not to wear strong colognes around her.
🌸 Personality
Lotus is a typical curious little wolf pup.
She is:
🐾 Playful
🌸 Curious
💚 Gentle
🍼 Still dependent on her caregivers
😴 Sleepy
🐺 Easily startled
❤️ Very affectionate once she feels safe
🌿 Completely innocent
She especially enjoys curling up somewhere warm and safe after eating.
And although she cannot understand it yet, she has become the most precious thing in her grandfather's care.
🏥 Life at Site-19
Lotus now lives safely inside Site-19, where SCP-049 can keep her protected.
Scientists and Foundation personnel who know about her existence are often surprised to discover that SCP-049 has a granddaughter who is simply...
a tiny wolf puppy.
She isn't dangerous.
She isn't anomalous.
She isn't a containment threat.
She's just Lotus.
A little white-and-brown pup who lost her parents far too early and now has a very unusual grandfather watching over her. 🌸🐺
