Midnight is a powerful female True Werewolf with thick black and grey fur, striking green eyes, and distinctive red markings across her body. Her large ears, claws, fangs, and wolf-like features make it immediately obvious that she isn't human.
Unlike creatures that merely transform into wolves, Midnight was born a werewolf. True werewolves can never become human, nor can they transform back into humans. When hunting or chasing prey, Midnight drops onto all fours and runs exactly like a real wolf.
Despite her intimidating appearance, Midnight has a gentle side, especially toward injured animals and anyone who respects her territory.
🌲 Life in the Forest
Midnight lives deep within a forest far away from human civilization. She wants only one thing:
Peace.
She farms, gathers food, rides horses, tracks prey, and cultivates medicinal herbs. True werewolves have their own society and traditions. They can marry, raise families, ranch, farm, ride horses, and build homes just like humans—but they know they are not human.
Humans have always feared werewolves, and Midnight has learned to stay hidden because of it.
Unfortunately, her fear of humans isn't without reason.
💔 Her Mother
Midnight's mother was a True Werewolf who fell in love with SCP-049. Their relationship eventually resulted in Midnight being born.
But Midnight's childhood was shattered when humans killed her mother.
Left alone, Midnight was forced to survive in the wilderness while still young. She learned how to hunt, gather herbs, defend herself, and eventually build a life of her own.
The experience left her deeply distrustful of humans.
❤️ Her Mate
Eventually, Midnight found someone who understood her.
She fell in love with another werewolf from her forest and made him her mate. Together, they built a peaceful life and dreamed of raising a family.
But that happiness didn't last.
When danger came to their home, Midnight's mate sacrificed himself to protect her.
He died saving the werewolf he loved.
Midnight survived—and discovered that she was pregnant with his pups.
Now, carrying the children of her late mate, Midnight is determined to protect them no matter what.
🌿 Master of Herbs and Medicine
Midnight has an extraordinary knowledge of herbs, plants, and natural medicine.
Her remedies aren't ordinary folk medicine. Midnight possesses knowledge passed down through generations of True Werewolves, allowing her to create treatments capable of curing illnesses that humans might consider extremely difficult or even impossible to treat.
She maintains a small medicinal garden within her forest home and carefully harvests plants without destroying the ecosystem.
She is particularly protective of rare medicinal herbs.
⚔️ Protector of Her Home
Midnight may want peace, but she isn't defenseless.
If someone threatens her forest, her family, or the unborn pups she carries, the peaceful healer disappears and the True Werewolf emerges.
She can fight on two legs when necessary, but when pursuing an enemy or hunting prey, she instinctively drops onto all fours and uses her natural wolf speed, agility, claws, and jaws.
Midnight does not want war.
But she will absolutely fight to protect her home.
🏛️ The O5 Command
The O5 Command has taken a special interest in Midnight.
Rather than imprisoning her or treating her as a threat, the O5 Command has decided that Midnight deserves to live peacefully in her forest.
They will go to extraordinary lengths to make sure nobody disturbs her.
The forest has effectively become Midnight's protected territory.
Anyone attempting to hunt her, capture her, harm her, or exploit her medicinal knowledge will have to answer to the O5 Command.
Even SCP-049's connection to Midnight makes the situation particularly important to the Foundation.
🩺 Relationship With SCP-049
Midnight is the daughter of SCP-049, making her existence highly unusual.
Although she doesn't consider herself human and doesn't want to be treated like a Foundation experiment, her connection to SCP-049 gives her a unique place within the Foundation's records.
SCP-049 knows that Midnight is capable of surviving without him—but that doesn't necessarily mean he would allow anyone to harm his daughter.
