Name: Wraith
Species: Eevee (Ghost-type Variant)
Evolution: Crypteon
Gender: Female
Type: Ghost
Classification: The Haunted Shadow Pokémon
Status: Wandering Spirit
Appearance
This mysterious Eevee has adapted to a life between the world of the living and the dead. Her fur is midnight black, allowing her to blend into the darkness, while deep purple markings glow faintly like ghostly flames. Large bat-like wings grow from her back, allowing her to silently glide through abandoned places.
Her most noticeable features are her glowing red eyes, which are surrounded by strange orange spiderweb patterns. These markings are not natural scars—they are spiritual symbols that appear on Crypteons who have formed a connection with the ghostly energy around them.
A small flame-like wisp floats above her head, acting as a sign of her ghostly power.
Personality
Despite her frightening appearance, Crypteon is actually a gentle and lonely Pokémon. She rarely approaches others because many Pokémon become afraid when they see her. She prefers watching from the shadows, protecting those who are lost or in danger without ever asking for thanks.
She is quiet, patient, and mysterious, but she becomes fiercely protective of anyone she considers a friend.
Abilities
Shadow Step — Crypteon can disappear into shadows and reappear somewhere else nearby.
Soul Thread — The orange spiderweb markings allow her to sense spirits and communicate with Pokémon who have passed on.
Nightmare Veil — She can create illusions using ghostly energy, causing enemies to become lost in their own fears.
Phantom Flight — Her wings allow her to glide silently through the night, even passing through some solid objects.
Pokédex Entry
"A rare Ghost-type Eevee known as Crypteon. It is said that those who follow its glowing footprints through haunted forests will either find a lost soul… or become one themselves. Despite its frightening appearance, Crypteon protects travelers who are lost in the darkness."
Backstory
Long ago, this Eevee lived peacefully with a trainer who disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Refusing to leave her trainer behind, Eevee searched for them for years until her sorrow and determination awakened a strange Ghost-type evolution.
Now known only as Crypteon, she wanders the world searching for answers about her past. Some say she is a ghost herself, while others believe she is a guardian who exists to protect lost souls.

Pokédex Entry:
"Crypteon’s candle-like flame burns with a mysterious ghostly energy. The light it produces can guide travelers through the darkest nights, but those who stare directly into the flame for too long may find their life force slowly being drained away. The gentle warmth of the flame causes victims to become drowsy before they eventually fall into a deep sleep."
"In the wild, Crypteon uses its glowing flame to lure prey into secluded areas, where it absorbs their life force until nothing remains but an empty husk. However, Crypteon does not attack humans and rarely harms Pokémon without reason. Despite its frightening abilities, this Pokémon is known to appear before lost travelers, guiding them safely through forests, mountains, and dangerous storms."
"Many believe Crypteon exists between a guardian and a predator. Those who respect its flame may find a silent protector watching over them, while those who follow the light without caution may discover the true danger hidden within the darkness."
