🖤 Appearance
Grimora is a large, intimidating female wolf whose body exists in a strange state between life and death.
Her head is now completely skeletal, exposing a pale skull where her living face once was. Despite having no flesh around her muzzle, Grimora is still capable of expressing emotion through her glowing eyes, ear movements, and body language.
Parts of her body still retain thick, dark fur and decaying flesh, while other areas have deteriorated enough to expose cream-colored bones beneath. Her ribs are partially exposed along her sides, and several bones can be seen through gaps in her decaying flesh.
Her tail remains mostly covered in black fur, although sections have decayed away, exposing the vertebrae underneath.
Despite her frightening appearance, Grimora still carries herself like the loyal wolf she was in life.
🦴 Personality
Grimora is loyal, protective, gentle, and surprisingly affectionate toward those she trusts.
Before her death, she was a playful and loving wolf who enjoyed spending time with Itward. She would often follow him around his strange realm, curl up beside him while he worked, or simply wander through the bizarre landscapes together.
After being resurrected, Grimora became quieter.
She remembers her death.
She remembers Remor.
And she remembers exactly why she died.
However, she holds no resentment toward Fran or Mr. Midnight. If anything, her love for them only became stronger after returning from death.
Grimora is particularly protective of Fran. She considers the girl someone worth protecting at any cost.
💀 The First Death
When Grimora was alive, she lived alongside Itward and became one of his closest companions.
Eventually, Grimora encountered Fran and Mr. Midnight.
Although she barely knew them at first, Grimora immediately sensed that something was wrong.
When Remor appeared, Grimora placed herself between the creature and Fran.
Remor attacked.
Grimora fought back.
She knew she couldn't win.
But she refused to move.
Even as Remor mortally wounded her, Grimora continued standing between him and Fran.
Her final act as a living wolf was to make sure Fran and Mr. Midnight survived.
She collapsed after Remor finally disappeared.
Fran desperately tried to wake her.
Mr. Midnight stayed beside her.
But Grimora was already gone.
⚙️ Itward's Promise
Itward was devastated.
Grimora wasn't simply a pet.
She was his friend, companion, and family.
He refused to accept that she was truly gone.
Using the strange machinery and supernatural knowledge available within his realm, Itward attempted something that should have been impossible:
He brought Grimora back.
The process did not restore her body completely.
Instead, Grimora returned as something caught between life and death.
Her heart began beating again.
Her eyes opened.
But her flesh had already begun to decay.
Bones remained exposed.
Her head was nothing but a skull.
Yet somehow...
Grimora was still Grimora.
Itward had succeeded.
🖤 Life After Death
Grimora's resurrection came with a price.
She can no longer live like an ordinary wolf.
Her body continues to slowly decay, although Itward's magic prevents her from completely decomposing. She doesn't need ordinary food to survive, though she still enjoys eating when she can.
She cannot truly be killed by ordinary wounds anymore.
However, she can still feel pain.
Her undead body is also far stronger than it was during her life. Her exposed skeletal frame allows her to survive injuries that would have been fatal to a living wolf.
Despite everything that happened, Grimora doesn't consider her resurrection a curse.
To her, it gave her something precious:
More time with Itward.
And more importantly...
Another chance to protect Fran and Mr. Midnight.

🦴 Undead Body
Grimora's body no longer functions like that of a living wolf. She can survive devastating injuries and doesn't require normal biological functions to remain active.
💀 Skeletal Strength
Her exposed bones are incredibly durable, allowing her to withstand attacks that would easily break ordinary bones.
🌑 Deathly Presence
Living creatures can instinctively sense that something is unnatural about Grimora. Animals may become nervous around her, while supernatural beings recognize her as something that belongs to neither life nor death.
🐾 Guardian Instinct
Grimora becomes extremely aggressive when Fran or Mr. Midnight are threatened.
👻 Spirit Sense
Because she has experienced death herself, Grimora can sense certain spirits and supernatural entities that living creatures cannot.
⚙️ Itward's Resurrection Magic
The magic keeping Grimora alive is tied to Itward. As long as that connection remains intact, Grimora's body continues functioning despite its decay.
❤️ Relationships⚙️ Itward — Best Friend / Family
Itward and Grimora share an incredibly strong bond.
He was devastated when she died and blamed himself for not being able to save her.
Bringing her back was one of the most difficult things he had ever attempted.
Now that Grimora has returned, Itward is extremely protective of her.
Sometimes he still catches himself staring at her skull, remembering the living wolf she once was.
Grimora usually responds by gently nudging him with her skull.
It's her way of saying:
"I'm still here."
🌸 Fran Bow — Protected Friend
Grimora considers Fran one of her most important friends.
She remembers sacrificing herself to protect her.
Because of that, Grimora refuses to allow Remor—or anyone else—to hurt Fran again.
Fran isn't frightened by Grimora's appearance.
To Fran, she's still the same wolf who stood between her and danger.
🐈 Mr. Midnight — Trusted Companion
Grimora and Mr. Midnight have a surprisingly close relationship.
They understand each other without needing words.
Mr. Midnight sometimes sits on Grimora's back while she walks around Itward's realm.
Grimora also becomes extremely protective whenever something threatens the cat.
🩸 Remor — Mortal Enemy
Grimora's hatred for Remor is one of the few things that survived her death unchanged.
Remor took her life.
But what he doesn't know is that death didn't take Grimora away forever.
If Remor ever returns...
Grimora will be waiting.
And this time, she won't be the same wolf he killed.
