# Overview
Poseidon is a powerful male wolf and the father of Autumnfire, Mahogany, and Luna. Long before the fungal virus claimed Amanita's life, Poseidon and Amanita raised Autumnfire and Mahogany together, teaching them the skills needed to survive as wild wolves.
When Autumnfire and Mahogany reached adulthood, they followed the ancient tradition of becoming dispersal wolves, leaving their birth territory to establish packs of their own. Poseidon was proud of them, even though saying goodbye was difficult.
Not long afterward, tragedy struck.
While Poseidon was away patrolling distant territory, Amanita became infected by a mysterious fungal virus unlike anything either of them had ever encountered. By the time Poseidon returned, she had already disappeared to isolate herself, determined to protect everyone she loved from the infection.
He searched tirelessly for her.
But he was too late.
After learning of Amanita's death from the Alliance, Poseidon also discovered that she had given birth to a healthy daughter before she passed away.
Her name was Luna.
Although he never had the chance to meet Amanita one last time, Poseidon swore he would one day find Luna and become the father she deserved.
