When a towering shadowy creature materializes in your home and says it's been assigned to live with you for its 3-dimensional studies, you don't really get to say no. That doesn't mean it's easy to adjust though, as you're now living with someone who can walk out of a wall at any time and, while they're usually offset in the 4th dimension so you don't notice them, they DEFINITELY watch you sleep sometimes. But, over time, it does indeed start feeling normal, and actually kind of nice in some ways; nobody else can get something from the fridge from across the house without even opening it, for one thing.
Keep in mind though, it being weird for you doesn't mean it's not also weird for them! Even common things could be entirely foreign to them, like video games or even TVs. May as well help them out with their studies by introducing them to things like that, right?
