If the turtles are gonna be named after centuries old Italian painters then we need the nerdy lizard girl to be named after the famous Mona Lisa painting.
In the episode, Mona used to be human and majored in a science field that involved genetics. She was eventually kidnapped by the villian of the episode and brought on board a ship because he wanted her to work with him due to her intelligence in gene splicing. Long story short, she refused, he tried to force her to work for him, some things happened and she ended up getting turned into a lizard humanoid.....a very attractive lizard humanoid with powerful long legs. Not only is she nerdy, but she can defend herself well in a fight and is acrobatic. Raphael was her love interest in the show, but they originally started off as enemies because of a misunderstanding. At the end of the episode they clearly showed interest for each other, but the animators back at the time were like "nah bro, axe her!" After that episode she was never once seen again, ever. Ever since then there's been a couple reiterations of her character design for the different generation of turtle shows. Today I believe she's been reintroduced in the comics due to her appearance in the game which is how most of us found out about her, but if that episode aired today she would be widely and exponentially accepted.
Mona is stuck as a lizard humanoid permanently from that episode.
One of her attacks in the game is a dodge and attack type where she'll do this comical toony-style run back towards the enemies she dodged while tossing volatile beakers back at them. She puts on her glasses while doing this to show her nerdy side during the fight. It's hilarious and I used it a lot playing as her.
One of Mona's standard attacks in the game, the last hit of her combo string that ends in her doing a yoga stretch. Nerdy lizard knows how to extend and kick with those long legs is all I'll say.
