"Wasted preparation"
Having heard about a reef in a cave system, Nox figured he had to go check it out! For once, he managed to get himself some scuba gear, though it was harder to use than he'd expected; he needed a mask instead of a regulator since he'd probably end up accidentally biting through it, and keeping the air tank on his back was tough since his spikes kept it from easily sitting in the middle. But, it worked, and after carefully making his way to the cave during the day so he could get the best experience, he headed in. It was worth it, the reef was a pretty cool-looking place! Staying clear of the sunlight streaming in through holes in the ceiling, Nox explored around, soon watching a fish dart upward-
CLANGBLBLUBULBUBLBL! He quickly realized what happened; when he'd looked up, one of his horns had pierced the air tank, and now its air was rapidly draining out! He'd barely even been in the cave for a few minutes... He could easily hold his breath long enough to swim back out, but it'd been a lot of work to get everything together. He'd need to find a better way next time...
