The following story was written by quil930543 on FA , go check out his work.

Sage leaned back against the thick, sturdy trunk of the towering oak tree in relaxation. He had just been on a nice walk, but in his older age, the Treecko got exhausted more easily, and needed to rest his tired feet more often than he used to. He didn't mind, though. For him, any moment spent out in nature was worth it.

He could feel his eyelids growing heavy, and found himself yawning for a moment. He was sure his nephew would worry if he didn't return to town soon, but surely it couldn't hurt if he just rested his eyes for an hour or so, right? Scrunching up his wrinkly toes, the gecko closed his eyes, quickly drifting off to a peaceful slumber.

Unbeknownst to him, another Pokemon had accompanied Sage on his walk, and was still with him now. Pokemon truly came in all shapes and sizes, and those sizes varied beyond what most would have considered possible. Even if he were more attentive, Sage likely wouldn't have noticed his little stowaway.

"C-Come on..." Zippo groaned to himself as he climbed up what remained of the huge, green, wrinkly cliff. The Quilava hadn't gotten a good look at the giant who had stepped on him, apart from the massive sole. He had been stuck somewhere near the front of it for the past hour or so, being repeatedly stepped on as each massive footfall took him at least a few miles farther from his hometown.

Even after the giant had stopped walking, it had taken a good amount of time for the weasel to recover from the repeated stomps, which had left him quite disoriented, but fortunately hadn't crushed him, or even caused him any physical harm. The vast, wrinkled sole had been surprisingly soft, thankfully.

Soon enough, the Quilava managed to clamber over the last wrinkle, making his way up onto somewhat more level ground, right at the base of one of the giant's looming toes. He practically collapsed, the earthy scent of the toes filling his lungs as he caught his breath. After a few moments, Zippo sat up, his face flushing bright red as he stared up at the toe. He was glad this giant hadn't stepped any closer to his village, as just the single vast digit could have wiped out most of the settlement.

As he proceeded to fully stand up, he looked around some more, only to freeze as he spotted a massive green shape in the distance. He walked closer to the side of the toe for a better look at the giant whose foot he had become acquainted with.

With how vast the size difference between them was, the sleeping Treecko as a whole seemed like a living, breathing mountain. His round, red belly steadily rose and fell with each distant, booming breath, while a huge hand rested upon it, each finger probably as big as the looming toe beside him. Farther up, the lizard's head seemed like it would dwarf even the summit of a mountain. As he breathed, his mouth opened slightly for each exhale. Even from this distance, it was obvious to Zippo that the lizard's maw was huge, likely large enough to fit his entire town, and then some.

As Zippo blushed, staring out at the massive Pokemon, several thoughts ran through his head. He had heard about giants before, and sometimes had even felt the impact of their steps far outside of the village, but he hadn't actually seen any up close before, let alone right at their feet. The sheer size of the Treecko was intimidating, yet he couldn't help but find it appealing in a way. It seemedodd to him, but there was something he liked about the sheer power of this giant's smallest movements, exemplified as the Treecko suddenly scrunched his toes for just a moment. The digits stopped right above Zippo, and the movement felt like an earthquake to the micro weasel before they unscrunched, leaving him even more of a blushing mess than he had been before.

"Maybe this isn't so bad..." Zippo muttered to himself, continuing to admire the Treecko's massive toes. When he was done staring, maybe he could try to make some kind of contact with the giant. It seemed like quite an implausible task given the size difference between them, but thinking straight wasn't very easy for him at the moment. Not with these distractions.

Done as a commission for my bud quil930543 on FA who wanted something with an old treecko like the one in the anime. Thank you for your patronage ^^

Huge kudos to my good friend and mentor rad-lizer for teaching me how to properly (and efficiently) draw vegetation. The background on this piece looks as good as it does thanks to him <3
