If alternate realities existed in VHV (Which they absolutely and unequivocally do not), Yamir and Thorn, the opposite-gendered counterparts of Yamri and Rose would live a very different life. Thorn would never grow quite as intelligent as Rose- A plenty decent IQ for sure, but far better at regulations and practical problems than coding and inventing given male furtum neuron density, nor is he as touchy-feely (for many reasons, but chiefly being a naturally more masculine disposition). As such, Yamir happens to be the more intelligent and affectionate of the two. Meanwhile, without a smarter companion to help him and improve his ambition, Yamir would never get as far in college as Yamri, settling "only" for a high-paying job as an electrical technician on his home colony of Camoridia, never leaving for Beta-4 and living a quiet life with his friend.
