Moira Baccharin had lost her mother and been abused by her father who was given custody over her. She was later sold to the Arbiter to be a part of his Iapyx project. After being given powers and escaping via the help of Steven and Max Wolford, she clung to her new friends and took comfort in the person she'd call brother later, Achenar Debuine. However, it wasn't until she met Marle Talbender, later to be married to Max Wolford, did she finally find an outlet for her needs in the form of plushies and dolls. It was a shared interest between her and Marle. Moira asked the giraffe if she could have a scary doll be made to help protect her during the nights she had nightmares. A special, menacing plushy was crafted to fulfill this need. Moira began to amass a large collection of adorable plushies, but this one terrifying plushy was her comfort and her protection.
