This one didn't take no where near as long to make as the Summer Fields did, this one is quite simple if you break it down. Its just a bunch of loops of the same or similar sequences, but with each track being more than 1 instrument, it sounds way more complex. Summer fields was one that I started off trying to do it with just a few tracks, but it was easier to just put each segment in its own instrument track... 16+ pianos 🙃
I also went back and re-did the 'Father Bear boating adventure' thing I did at the start. I had audacity recording me playing the notes in Kira Studio, then exported the 1st instrument, played it with fooobar while recording a new track in audacity, and layered instruments up until I got what you hear in the 2nd track. Quick and dirty demo ;p
Depending on how well the main story of the game goes now that I FINALLY brute forced Krea 2 into being a working img2img model where I can give it my drawings, and it transfers the style LoRA I made into what I drew. I can actually get to making the game now. See next part of the post dump about Krea 2 [put link to krea 2 when actually uploaded]
This Proton Drive folder has the original project file incase anybody wants to re-mix it, no easter egg in this one. You'll need Kira Studio to run the file though, but its free :)
Oh yeah I love Kira Studio, it makes transcribing and using my keyboard sooo much easier than something like FL Studio, or from wayyy back in the day Tux Guitar.
It comes with a entire soundfront of over 100+ instruments and can emulate NES, Gameboy and various other 8 bit console sounds, or you can make your own.
