I was welding scale platforms together working for a scale factory during the morning it happened. One of the co-workers had a radio playing at his work area. He heard the news flash on his radio, then told other workers and me about it.
When we heard about the 1st plane striking the World Trade Center, some of us thought it could possibly be a mechanical failure in the plane causing loss of control where the pilot was unable to steer the plane. After the 2nd plane hit, it became obvious it had been done deliberately.
The prominent impact it had on me, was a wake up call that danger can come from out of nowhere, at any place, at any time, suddenly, and when you are not expecting it.
