"A bad time for immobility"
This underwater part in the game Vios had been playing through hadn't had an air pocket in a long time, and his simulated lungs were intensely burning, needing air so badly his body was shivering. But, there it was: The end of the long tunnels he'd been swimming through. He bolted straight there, his swimming more akin to panicked flailing as his breath meter reached its last pixel and bubbles continually trickled away, and in just another second he'd finally-
BONG
Everything stopped; his swimming, his bubbles... But not the feeling of his need for air. Barely even managing to look around, he saw an error message had come up, marking that the game had crashed for whatever reason, and would close... If he could hit the confirmation button. But, he couldn't, he was stuck in place! He couldn't even squirm in discomfort as he perpetually stayed on the absolute edge of drowning, unable to inhale even if he wanted, the surface not even a foot away from him. It wasn't hopeless, he had specialized code that'd break him out of games in situations like this, but it'd take a few minutes to kick in. Until then, he had to just endure his desperate need for air, two methods of correcting it staring him in the face but out of reach, taunting him.
