Getting it to level what ... 12 or 14 to evolve tho is a pain in the ass and it doesn't even learn confusion until later so it's still pretty damn useless rofl. Well ... apparently now it learns it at level 10 but it didn't used to in the old games D:< and even then it's sp atk blows so Brock is still challenging

So? Grass moves still work on fire pokemon they're just not as effective. And moves like Sleep Powder and Spore and whatnot don't have reduced effectiveness against fire types so I challenge your notion and posit that a pollen allergy would still have full effect against a fire type!
