His time‑travel abilities weren’t perfect, and instead of landing where he intended, he appeared right in the middle of the festival. The noise, colours, and crowds were far more chaotic than anything he was used to, leaving him confused and anxious.
While everyone else walked past him, Kimi approached gently, assuming he was unfamiliar with South Island customs. Silver tried to explain himself, stumbling over his words, until he finally admitted — nervously — that he was from the future. He expected her to laugh or walk away.
Instead, Kimi simply believed him.
