----- Spaz is the God of Charity. The open hand of the world of Whipvine. Spaz moves through minds and dreams to stir cooperation. Spaz shifts time preference and mentality. Spaz promotes high trust, intolerance against extractive or corrupt behavior, he is the weapon against fatalism and short-term opportunism, he is the emphasis toward abstract planning and impersonal cooperation. Spaz drives charity and generosity and intolerance for sin and the behaviors that create chronic poverty traps and extreme selfishness. Spaz is tied to his brother, Rez, the God of Commerce, because the two cannot exist without one another. Spiritists practice Charity as a structural habit rather than occasional kindness. Surplus is often set aside for common good. Education centers, common structures, boarding houses, and all manners of infrastructure or practice bear his visage. When a settlement or household falls into need, the response is expected to be immediate and unembarrassed. Scholars teach that ignoring preventable suffering is a direct injury to Spaz's work. Trust must be cultivated for society to survive. Violating trust and abusing the generosity of others, however, is just as foul as refusing to help those in need.
