This is what I think will happen. We see the magic energy sword's tip stop just centimeters from the guy's nose, scene changes to AJ' hoof holding onto Twilight's arm, next scene is a shot of both mares with aj saying "ah think he's had enough" or something similar.

Brownhair is wounded and down for the count and anyone with eyes can see he's not getting up. An inadvertent kill is one thing but this is killing after the fact. And Twi genuinely doesn't know the situation or circumstances of each individual hired for this.

CBTwi does a lot of porn on the side. It's been a joy to see their storytelling and worldbuilding chops and the other skills they have beyond sex all the time. It's been a joy and super exciting. I've been loving their backgrounds and choreography a ton. The dialogue's been nothing to sniff at so far either.

Also Celestia might not want to see bloodlust, but it's difficult to swallow all of that rage all the time and keep cool. Especially when the world insists on trying to freeze your heart.

Seems more like a sword for hire who just wanted the paycheck. Might have some old grievances with the crown due to nobles' actions on the outer regions of Equestria that often get associated as Celestia's evils by those not in the know.

Because it's stupid. Ever since some dumbass thought to himself "Y'know, 'buck' and ' fuck' sound exactly the same - I'm so clever!" I physically cringe whenever I see it used. It's not clever and it's not cute.

I DEFINITELY expected it to be Flutters who'd try to save him with mercy.

Either way. I like this turn of events. And I really love the guy's internal monologue. I kind of hope at least some of these creatures survive. Twi's clearly lusting for blood though and to show 'em who's boss.

I'm glad Applejack is at least gonna try and move or do something.

I... kinda chafe at the power dynamic here of Twilight being this insanely OP when the initial thesis of the thing this is based off of was about her embarking on a journey of personal growth via learning how others compliment her studious nature and raw prowess.

There needs to be somewhere for Twilight Sparkle to grow, and a way for her friends to actually be able to affect change upon her, and I hope... I really hope Applejack can snap her out of the battle fugue state.
