Since the moderators decided to put a damper on my enthusiasm with their approach to processing images based on photos, I decided to try a different method. I’ll use a very simple sketch based on what I actually look like.

This is a preview of the tutorial and the first step in turning a sketch into a detailed image, step by step. I’m building on my previous, unfinished work. I’d like to practice the workflow before creating the final version.

I'm posting the first step as a draft. The next steps will first be posted in the gallery, and later I'll move them to the drafts so I can replace them with the actual final step.

The plan is subject to minor changes.
