I’ve been on a bit of a Kingdom hearts binge. I got through KH 2 (didn’t beat Lingering Will, but I’m not subjecting myself to that shit), I cleared the Secret episode in Birth By Sleep (the reason I was missing it was because one of Ven’s stickers was in the wrong place, yes really), I watched the boring Re: Coded movie (hopefully the upcoming HD rerelease of that game will be good) and now I’m almost finished with Dream Drop Distance.
Naturally, this gave me the idea to do another costume line up, featuring Leon if he was in the Kingdom hearts games, his diaper changing based on the world he’s in. What made this pic take longer was the fact I also wanted to add the corresponding keyblades as well, and those were a pain to draw, but I managed it, eventually.
First off is the Traverse Town getup. Attempted to mirror Sora’s outfit with a crown necklace and a cloth diaper with a similar color scheme. Important note: the Leon in this universe wasn’t always an eternal hatchling, he turned into this after leaving Destiny Islands (his pre-Traverse Town attire will be shown in a future installment of this series, maybe). As such, running around in nothing but a diaper is pretty humiliating to him to say the least.
Next is the Deep Jungle garb, only appearing here since Disney lost the rights to Tarzan. Unsurprisingly, it’s a pelt diaper held up by a stick. How did the keyblade get a leopard pelt to make a diaper with? Beats me. Leon also got some tribal face paint to get more into character. I could have tried to make my own leopard pattern, but I was getting fatigued from working on this for so long, so I just used Gimp’s. Don’t worry, that pelt diaper is absorbent, at least that’s what the Keyblade tells him.
The Olympus Colosseum finally added something extra, even if it’s only a Gladiator’s shoulder plate. The diaper got a bit of a downgrade, being little more than a sheet held up by a string. On the plus side, if it malfunctions in the middle of a fight, it won’t be that big of a deal, since Greeks normally exercise in the nude.
Wonderland certainly has some, very specific taste. When Leon wanted some more to cover himself, he didn’t mean a girly dress. The humiliation didn’t even stop there. Instead of a diaper, he now had a pair of short, absorbent bloomers under the dress, something the heartless enjoyed exposing in the middle of combat.
My important work has been taking up a lot of my creative time lately, so I’m not sure when I’ll get around to the next installment of this. I did enjoy how it came out, though I shouldn’t get my hopes up, I’m sure someone will point out something that needs improved, and that’s fine.
Visual Description:
Leon is a baby dragon with midnight blue scales and indigo colored scales on his belly and fins. He has a three-pronged trident shaped fin on each cheek and a slanted two pronged fin on the top of his head.
His first costume consists of a flat silver crown necklace and a cloth diaper held up by knots, which is mostly red except between the legs, which is white and features a black crown silhouette. Leon wields the default Kingdom Key keyblade.
His second costume is a leopard pelt diaper held up by a stick on the side. Leon also has two stripes of pale indigo paint on his cheek. He wields the Jungle King keyblade with this outfit.
His third costume consists of a diaper that is basically a white sheet between his legs held up by a gold string around his waist, and a bronze shoulder plate on his right shoulder. He wields the Olympia keyblade with this outfit.
His final costume is essentially an Alice in Wonderland dress with white apron. Leon has an irritated look on his face. He wields the Lady Luck keyblade with this outfit.
The background is space with basic stars a faded nebula.
