Character Sheet for Rickenbacker

Character Description
Rickenbacker is Shax's right-hand man and the leader of his crew. While Shax's group specializes in infiltration, theft, and other kinds of assorted skullduggery, Rickenbacker is definitely the muscle of the bunch - not physically, but because he's innately pretty strong as a demon and has gravity-based abilities that are very hard to fight against. He's a baphomet-like sinner demon, and often uses that to his advantage as a natural disguise, with hellborns only noting how odd it is for a baphomet to have such a sour disposition. Despite appearances, though, he's not actually a true baphomet of course, with certain details like the fact that his candle merely smoulders giving it away. Overall he's got an unnerving and intimidating presence like any powerful hellborn would, plus a naturally hoarse and gravelly voice that Shax took to imitating when appearing in front of mortals for intimidation points.
Personality
Is he a good person? No, not really. He will be the first to admit that his previous killings were his temper getting the better of him, and yet he's not really apologetic about it either, nor does Shax try to steer him toward redemption. Despite trying sincerely to be better for his bird friend he's still got an explosive temper and deep-seated loathing which makes him liable to completely blow his top in the face of particularly despicable demons... such as, oh I don't know... most of the other Goetia and the Overlords... which is probably going to get him into severe trouble sooner or later. But he's friendly to the rest of his crew, at least.
To others, he comes off as perpetually in a bad mood. Random folks get treated with anything from resigned tolerance to indifference to outright disdain, depending on whether he thinks you're an okay person or not. He's aware at least that he comes off as rude so he attempts to make a token effort to be better.
Likes/Dislikes
When he's not at work, he spends a lot of time listening to music. He's not-so-secretly still extremely nostalgic for everything from his hippie era, manifesting largely in his very distinct fashion preferences, and the few other dead souls he's encountered from that era have seen an uncharacteristically kind and sentimental side of him. Surprisingly, he expresses an interest in trying new food... though you can't get great food much in Hell. He tries not to let others into his room because it's exactly the kind of psychedelic explosion of decor you might expect from an old flower child.
Bad people continue to be his berserk button. When he was alive, he murdered people he saw as rotten, hateful, selfish, moronic - you get the idea. He felt like that behavior disqualified them from the human race. He still feels that way a little so if you're a terrible person he won't even bother to treat you politely.
Background/History
Rickenbacker is the dead spirit of a 1960s hippie who went real bad about ten years later and became a serial killer and assassin. When he finally died, he ended up in hell and realized that not only did the kind of regressive chuds he targeted escaped the kind of karmic afterlife he imagined but that there were countless people he considered "good" that ended up in hell too for completely inscrutable and arbitrary reasons. Then it turned out that about every decade angels came down and cleaned house... so he had the unpleasant realization that he had been killing people just to satisfy his own deep-seated frustration and loneliness and that everything had probably been a huge waste of time.
Heel realizations are never fun, are they? But then Shax almost literally picked him up out of a gutter and took him under his wing. He doesn't try to rehabilitate Rickenbacker but he does offer him a purpose going forward and a place to belong. Now, some time later, the goat demon is Shax's closest assistant and, dare I say it... friend. Intensely and singlemindedly loyal only to Shax - it's rather unimaginable otherwise but he refers to him as "sir" unironically - it seems like he's actually making an effort to behave for his sake and be a good servant. Deep down he might be developing further feelings for his benefactor but at the moment he's either unaware or very in denial of it himself... especially since Shax is already married.
World/Setting
it's the Hellaverse. If you watch Helluva Boss, you know what the deal is.
The only significant difference in my imagining is that Sinner Demons can freely move between any of the rings of Hell.
Body
Rickenbacker is a goat demon who appears to be a baphomet at first glance - although small details are just so slightly off, such as his candle or tail or demeanor, and may clue in a perceptive person that he's not what he seems. He is approximately seven feet tall and has incredibly long blond hair that seems to flutter out around him at the bottom. When he uses his powers, the tips turn black and flicker like shadowy flames. His horns are very large and curl down almost completely in a three-quarters loop, with a second set of much smaller horns beneath them that are usually hard to see due to his long hair. His ears are pierced with very large gauge piercings you could probably fit your wrist through, and his long, imp-like spade tail has a huge splatter marking on it that is meant to resemble a psychedelic bloodstain.
Clothing
His outfits vary but he favors fashion from the 1960s and 70s with a decidedly bohemian/hippie flair. You'll often see him with an open vest, plenty of jewelry and other random accessories.
Accessories
Rickenbacker has a pair of large circular glasses without frames that tend to glow with his demon power when he uses magic or gets upset.
