GUN was long interested in acquiring weapons on the level of power of the strongest mobians.
Their early experiments were androids and Techno Sonic. The first image here is Techno Fera, a robot created in collaboration between Richard Gunner and Dr. Eggman.
The second image is an android of Copter, one of several mass produced GUN soldiers that were considered failures when they couldn't defeat the mobians they were based on.
Third is a robotic version of the second Deathbringer, Libra. This design was never completed, but GUN certainly would have loved to have soldiers as powerful as the Deathbringer.
Last is a fully robotic version of Guard, which was used as Gunner's ultimate weapon in the GeneX Legacy timeline.
