The Great Bell
By Sokz
The sound of her bell rang through the shadows of the woods as she took slow, gradual steps. Cling-Cling the Chingling focused on the sounds around her as she walked around a looming tree, its branches wilted, its leaves half dead, its bark as black as the canopy above. Bug type Pokemon skittered through the underbrush while a Noctowl hooted somewhere far away. The wind swayed tree leaves and brought them to life, each shift and rustle making Cling-Cling's heart beat a little faster.
She didn't like the woods at night. During the daytime, they looked so warm and inviting. Each tree sprang from the ground and reached toward the sunlight, while dappled rays moved through their leaves to shine on the Butterfree and Bidoofs that lived below. She could see everything, and the sound of her chime was a pleasant addition to the natural landscape.
But now her chime only added to the haunting atmosphere. The shadows were the home of dark type Pokemon who waited in the jagged holes of trees for their prey to stumble too closely, or the ghost types that drifted through the underbrush with only an empty longing in their hearts. It wasn't the place for an eight inch tall pokemon like her.
She knew she shouldn't have stayed out so long, she knew it was foolish to keep searching for berries even as the sun moved closer to the horizon, but she was hungry, and the smell of the Oran berries was too much for her to resist. By the time she realized how far away from her home she was, it was too late.
Now she didn't even know if she could find her way back in the dark. She looked for a place to rest for the night, but scratches and snarls came from every hollowed-out tree or fallen log. All of the safe places were already taken.
She paused as a rustling sound drew her attention. It was louder than the wind, more deliberate, as though something was rushing toward her. Her tiny body froze, her legs refused to move as the shadows seemed to darken around her. Then it burst forth from a nearby bush, its form so large and covered in gloom that she couldn't make out its full appearance before it slammed into her and pushed her aside.
Cling-Cling tumbled to the ground, her chime ringing, as the other Pokemon came to a
stop above her. She looked up to see the dark grey body, the whips where its legs should be, the glowing yellow frown on its belly, and the solitary red eye in its skull.
A Dusknoir, and a particularly angry one at that. The Pokemon held a pile of berries in its arms, with a few now littering the ground as he stumbled from their collision. The Pokemon looked at the berries, then turned to her.
The air grew cold as the gigantic Pokemon stared down. Her mind filled with the evil things it could do with just a thought, the countless dark and ghost type moves that would wrap her mind and render her unconscious. Instead, the Pokemon just snarled and said, ``Watch where you step, you pathetic insect. If I had the time, I would rip you into the shadows.'' The Dusknoir didn't wait for her to respond. In a blink, its wispy body disappeared into the shadows, leaving Cling-Cling trembling in its wake. She remained there, unaware of how much time passed, her body frozen as the wind returned and the sound of insects gradually took their place in the forest.
She finally blinked back to herself when she heard another sound close by, something closer to an annoyed huff. It didn't sound like the Dusknoir, or anything so intimidating and cruel. It sounded like a Pokemon that needed help.
Slowly, Cling-Cling rolled herself to her feet. As she moved toward the sound, she came to an Oran berry left on the ground from their collision. Though it was almost as large as her body, she picked it up and carried it on her head.
Moving through the thicket proved difficult, but she managed to push past the bushes and stumble into a small clearing. There, in the center, stood a Cherrim with her arms crossed and an annoyed look on her face.
``Oh!'' the Cherrim said as she spotted Cling-Cling. ``Hello.''
``Were you the one making those sounds?'' Cling-Cling asked. ``Did the Dusknoir run into you as well?''
``Yeah, kind of,'' the Cherrim answered. ``He found my stash of berries and ran off before I could even challenge him to a battle. What a JERK!''
``He stole all your berries,'' Cling-Cling said. ``I'm sorry. I found this, though.'' She moved the Oran berry closer. ``I think it's yours.''
``Thank you,'' Cherrim said as she took the berry. ``It's nice to meet a Pokemon in these woods with a little kindness and decency. I'm Chuchubie, by the way.''
``My name's Cling-Cling.''
``That's a beautiful name for a beautiful Pokemon.'' She gave the little one a warm smile as she walked back to her hidden hollow of a tree and deposited her berry. ``You know,'' she said, turning back to her new friend, ``I think I might have an idea. You said you saw the Dusknoir, right? Did you see where it was going?''
``I think so,'' Cling-Cling said, ``But... well, I don't really want to go after it. That Pokemon was huge. Someone like me would just get beaten up if I tried to stop him.''
A smug expression slowly brightened Chuchubie's face. ``And what if I had a way to change that?''
``Huh? What do you mean?''
``What if you were the big one? Think you'd still be scared of him?''
``I'm not sure,'' she said as she rubbed the back of her head. ``Maybe?''
Chuchubie gently took Cling-Cling's hands in hers. ``Then let's find out. Take my Flower
Gift!''
A bright light enveloped the tiny Pokemon as energy and power rushed from Chuchubie into her body. Sparks of electricity and pink energy radiated around the tiny bell as her strength swelled. The trees shook, the wind gusted, the grass under their feet trembled, then the change began. She grew! Her form doubled in size, then continued expanding until she loomed over Chuchubie. More, taller, until she was bigger than the bushes, then the branches, then the trees themselves. With a dramatic burst of pink sparkles and lights, her face shot through the canopy. Her eyes glittered as she looked at the stars overhead. ``This is amazing!'' Cling-Cling said. She took a step forward and felt bushes and branches snap under her foot. Her round body bumped into a tree and shattered its trunk without even the slightest bit of effort, causing it to tumble to the ground.
``Pretty fun, right?'' Chuchubie said with a smug grin as she hopped onto her new friend's head. ``Want to track down that Dusknoir?''
``Absolutely!''
The forest trembled as she stomped forward, the sound of her bell transformed from a high-pitched chime to the deep and reverberating toll of a gong. Pokemon of all shapes scurried from her stomping feet as she broke a path through the woods, while hundreds of bird and bug Pokemon leapt into the sky. Nothing stopped her, or even tried to stand in her way. Even the trees bent and broke under her might.
She never felt so powerful before! Yet, even as she raced forward, she couldn't stop her hands from trembling.
Trees shattered as she pushed her way into the small clearing and came to a stop. A huge oak twisted its way skyward, its branches drooping, its leaves black, its bark old and sagging as hollows stared back at her. Moss covered its ancient surface, the pattern forming facsimiles of faces that reminded her of ghosts traveling through the shadows. Her courage faded as she saw the haunted tree, and dwindled even more when the Dusknoir appeared in front of her.
``What are you doing here?'' the Pokemon shouted up to her as it hovered in place. ``Hey jerk!'' Chuchubie shouted from atop Cling-Cling's head. ``You stole my berries, and we're going to make it right.''
``And what do you think you're going to do about it? Even if this one has grown to unreasonable proportions, she is still just a pathetic Chingling. I have crushed hundreds of them before, and you will just be the latest.'' The shadows grew darker as its eye glowed red.
``Chuchubie,'' Cling-Cling said as her body began to shake. ``I don't know about this...''
``Don't worry,'' her friend said. ``You got this, I know you do.''
The Dusknoir glided into the shadows, shifting back and forth at a blinding speed before appearing in the gloom to Cling-Cling's side. It lifted its arms and readied an attack. Power surged from the darkness, gathering at a point between its hands until all the gloom of the night seemed concentrated in a ball of pure shadow. Then it threw the attack forward.
``Ah!'' Cling-Cling shouted as she braced for the hit. She felt it strike her belly... But it was barely even a tickle. It felt like a cold spray of water, or maybe a Stringshot from an aggressive Catterpie, not the full force assault from a strong Pokemon like Dusknoir.
Cling-Cling looked down at the spot where the attack struck, then at her opponent.
``Was... was that it?''
``How did you survive that?'' Dusknoir said, his red eye burning with rage.
``Hey, Cling-Cling,'' Chuchubie said. ``Now it's your turn. Blast this jerk!''
Cling-Cling stood motionless for a moment as she slowly understood the situation. That was a full-power Shadow Ball from an incredibly strong ghost type, yet she barely even felt it. This little guy didn't just look like a bug, he pretty much was one. Suddenly, she didn't feel so afraid anymore.
She smiled as she gathered her power. The Dusknoir backed away as the ground trembled and the trees shook. The air itself seemed to shimmer with psychic energy as she concentrated on the move. ``Wait,'' Dusknoir tried to say.
It was too late. Cling-Cling let loose her move. It radiated out from her like a shockwave of purple and pink energy, ripping up the ground, destroying trees, breaking wood, shattering stones, and completely obliterating her opponent. Even the ancient oak was ripped out of the ground by the attack.
Once it finished and the dust cleared, Chuchubie smiled and patted her friend on the head. ``Yeah!'' she shouted, overjoyed. ``I knew you could do it! What move was that, anyway?'' ``Confusion,'' Cling-Cling answered as she looked around the destruction. She never imagined she could cause such a thing.
``Well, it was amazing. Come on, let's go find some other stuff to have fun with.''
``Oh, uh, are you sure? Shouldn't you turn me back now that we defeated the Dusknoir?''
``Do you want to be tiny again?''
It didn't take her long to answer, ``No. No, I like being big.''
``Then let's have some more fun.''
She once viewed trees as so strong and powerful, practically immovable until they were old, withered, and hollow. Now she kicked through them as though they were tall strands of grass. The ground trembled with each one of her footfalls, and the sound of her bell was powerful enough to shatter stones every time she took a step.
Nothing in the entire forest could match her power, and the path of destruction carved in her wake proved it. Trees were thrown about without a care, boulders lay in rubble, and countless small Pokemon flew above head as the chaos continued. At first, Cling-Cling felt a little trepidatious about destroying so many Pokemon's homes, but Chuchubie put her mind at ease.
``Look how much smaller than you they are,'' she said. ``You deserve to have a little fun, right?''
And they had a lot of fun. They stomped through small springs, leaving giant muddy footprints behind. They ripped ancient trees out of the ground and threw them miles into the distance. They found other dark type pokemon and ghost type pokemon and blew them into the sky. A single use of Confusion was more than enough to obliterate every threat in this once spooky forest.
Cling-Cling was overjoyed, confident, and full of pride by the time she reached the edge of the woods, but those strong emotions faded the moment she saw the twinkling lights of the small town.
``What are you waiting for?'' Chuchubie asked. ``It's just a human village. You can stomp through it, easy.''
``Yeah, but...'' She squirmed in place as she looked at the roads, houses, and especially the tall temple near the heart of the city. ``This place makes me worried.''
``Why?''
``Because I used to live here.'' She sighed, the bell in her body making a powerful sound as she slumped forward. ``I used to stay in that temple over there, but the owner never liked me much. He and his Lucario said I brought a bad energy to the temple, and that the spirits didn't like my presence.''
``That's so mean!'' Chuchubie said.
``I know. He put up with me for a while, but then I started having these evil dreams. I'd find myself alone in a huge, dark, empty space, then there was this shadowy mountain that loomed over me. And there was this huge monster... It was massive! I felt so tiny and scared. When the nightmares got really bad, Lucario sensed that my aura was even darker, and they kicked me out of the temple.''
Chuchubie frowned. ``That's so cruel. But hey, you're not tiny or scared anymore, right?''
``No. No I'm not.''
``Then how about we show those jerks how wrong they were.''
Cling-Cling allowed herself to smile as she looked into the village. ``Yeah, I like that idea.'' The first house burst apart as soon as she stepped on its roof. The sensation was different than breaking through the trees. Instead of bending and stretching, the house shattered and broke apart in a burst. Windows exploded, appliances and furniture cracked, and electricity surged from the ripped wires.
It was fun. People and Pokemon ran away from her as she hopped from house to house, shattering each of them under her great feet as she went. The toll of her bell only grew louder as her body became bigger, and soon each chime caused the pokemon nearby to fall to their knees and cover their ears. Windows shattered with the powerful sound.
She was about the same size as the temple by the time she reached it. The ancient wooden structure was built of interlocking wood in the style of Shinto shrines, with curved sections of roof and thick supports to keep it upright. In the stone-covered area before the temple, an old man waited with Lucario standing beside him.
``Is that the priest?'' Chuchubie asked.
``Yeah.''
``Looks like he has Lucario with him, too. Are you ready to kick their butts?''
Cling-Cling braced herself. ``Absolutely.''
The priest didn't attempt to talk to her, and Lucario didn't even give her a nod of acknowledgment. Instead, the man motioned his hand, and Lucario leapt forward, his aura glistening in the moonlight as he sprinted side to side in blindingly fast bursts.
``Get ready,'' Chuchubie said.
Lucario focused his energy into his feet, then sprinted full force at Cling-Cling. She braced herself for the attack, fearing the worst, but the strike was barely more than a poke. Though Lucario slammed into her using its Extreme Speed attack, it was barely even noticeable.
As he recovered, the Lucario concentrated its aura in a sphere and threw it forward with every ounce of power it had. The glowing sphere burst apart harmlessly against her belly.
``Is that it?'' Chuchubie asked. ``I thought you said this guy was strong?''
``He was,'' Cling-Cling said. ``I guess he isn't very strong anymore, though.'' She felt funny as she looked down at the little Lucario and his shocked expression. ``My turn now.''
The town around them was in chaos, with fires spreading from one destroyed home to another. People and Pokemon alike ran through the streets in a panic, some trying to quell the flames while others just tried to escape. They were like ants scurrying back and forth below her. Cling-Cling smiled, cleared her throat, then let her voice surge through the world. Everything stopped as the sound waves shook the very fabric of the ground. Her bell sounded, louder than ever before, delivering a shockwave that surged from her body and ripped the temple to shreds. Lucario was thrown backwards and carried off in the dust while all nearby houses, roads, and buildings were torn from their foundations and smashed apart.
Uproar was always a fun attack, but now it was the most powerful move a Pokemon had ever used.
``So,'' Chuchubie said once the echoing sound faded. ``Feel better?''
Cling-Cling looked down at the rubble that was once the temple. ``Yeah. A lot better.''
Forests once looked so sprawling and massive, but now they were barely more than moss under her feet as she trampled across the landscape. She liked the crunch of countless trees bursting apart every time she took a step. The sound of her bell chimed with each movement, the sound so powerful that it radiated from her like a pressure wave, ripping the landscape clean. Bird Pokemon fell out of the air, planes and helicopters sputtered and broke apart, while lakes trembled with each toll.
She was beyond powerful. Nothing could rival her, and even the largest and strongest Pokemon were just insects to be stomped, crushed, or swallowed whenever she felt hungry. As Cling-Cling and Chuchubie had fun skipping across the landscape, they crushed countless houses, roads, villages, train tracks, bridges, and fields. Farmlands were smooshed, rivers overflowed, and lakes splashed whenever she slammed her foot down.
Some creatures tried to stop her, but none of them were strong enough. The army sent planes to attack her with missiles while boats along the coast fired barrage after barrage of cannon fire. A single use of Confusion was enough to send them hurtling into the air.
``Oh, look at that!'' Cling-Cling said as she crossed over a mountain range. A glittering city rested in the valley before her, with giant buildings covered in lights and streets filled with flashing cars. ``Is that a city?''
``Yep,'' Chuchubie said. ``There are thousands, maybe even millions of Pokemon down there. Looks pretty fun to destroy, right?''
``Absolutely!''
She stepped forward, and the toll of her chime shattered windows throughout the entire metropolis. Nothing stood in her way as she walked forward and obliterated buildings on the edge of the city.
Towers fell, roads buckled, and Pokemon desperately tried to flee. Not even the attempts of the legendary trainers could stop her. She didn't notice the Charizard's Flame Thrower, the Toxicroak's poison, or the Garchomp's vicious attacks. She just walked forward, and countless Pokemon were defeated.
She had a lot of fun bumping into the buildings and collapsing them. Eventually, all but a few of them lay in rubble, with fires spreading through the now destroyed city. Sirens echoed throughout, but there was far too much destruction for anyone to handle.
``That was fun,'' Cling-Cling said, ``But I'm getting tired. We stayed up the entire night playing.''
``Yeah,'' Chuchubie agreed. ``Why don't you get some sleep then?''
``Will I still be big when I wake up?''
``Absolutely!''
``Okay then.'' Cling-Cling found a comfy spot nestled between some of the remaining buildings. Though their steel frames groaned and bent when she leaned against them, they stayed standing and provided a nice spot for her to curl up and close her eyes. She fell asleep to the sound of the city slowly burning around her.
Her dreams started wonderfully. She hopped across the world, leaving footprints in her wake as she chased the sun around the globe. Then the clouds choked the sky overhead, becoming darker and darker until the world was completely shrouded in shadow.
She looked around, growing worried as everything became dark. This nightmare was familiar, one that she had experienced countless times before. Her body trembled as a mountain rose before her, its form almost pitch black against the clouds. She turned toward the sky and saw the shadowed form looming over her, massive even compared to her existence. Wisps flowed off its form as it took up the entire sky, laughing as the nightmare engulfed her.
She woke up with a start, her eyes wide. The nightmare felt so real and daunting, but as the sun rose in front of her, illuminating the shattered remains of the city, she steadily calmed. It was just a dream, and she was still massive.
``Are you okay?'' Chuchubie asked.
``Yeah, just a bad dream. It was the same nightmare I had when I was small.''
``I'm sure it's nothing. Hey, now that you're awake, let's keep playing.''
Cling-Cling breathed in and allowed the warm air to fill her lungs. It calmed her mind and reminded her of the power she now wielded. Why should she be afraid of anything? She was practically a god now. With a smile, she hopped back to her feet. ``Yeah, let's keep playing!'' She didn't even make it a step before a barrage of missiles and cannon fire slammed against her belly. The army, navy, and air force gathered around her while they slept, and now that she was awake, they unleashed the full force of their might.
Of course, it wasn't anything too impressive, and Cling-Cling just dusted herself off.
``Why do they keep attacking me?'' she asked.
``Because they're silly and dumb,'' Chuchubie said. ``Go on, destroy them.''
Cling-Cling gathered her power and used Uproar once again. This time, the move?s power was total and all-consuming. For miles in every direction, planes were ripped apart, tanks were blown to bits, the ground erupted, the ocean foamed, and battleships detonated. The few buildings that had survived her playtime last night fell as the sound waves tore their foundations out of the ground.
Nothing remained except rubble, fire, and churned-up ash.
``That was amazing!'' Chuchubie said. ``You really are super powerful.''
A glow surrounded Cling-Cling as she looked down at her body. ``I feel something,'' she said as her form glowed a bright white. ``I think I'm evolving!'' In a burst of starlight, her form changed. A brilliant golden ring formed the center of her new shape, while chimes fluttered in the wind. She wasn't a Chimecho, she had evolved past it into a Mega Chimecho!
``Look at me!'' she shouted, her voice echoing across the world and obliterating the environment for miles.
``You're amazing!'' Chuchubie shouted in answer. ``You're even bigger than before! We are going to have so much FUN!''
Though she no longer had feet to stomp and crush the tiny structures below her, the sound of her chimes and bells was more than enough to send the world reeling. Every time she shifted back and forth, the countless chimes on her body rang, generating shockwaves that rivaled the strength of atomic weapons. She laughed as the sound shattered forests, forced rivers to change their flow, and caused huge landslides from mountains and ridges.
She laughed even harder as one of the landslides slid down and buried an entire town resting at its base. Everything was so delicate now. She couldn't even fly forward a bit without the sound of her bells destroying everything around her.
There were still a few attempts to stop her, but they were so small and pathetic that she barely even took notice. At one point, a helicopter sputtered in the air in front of her face, with metal covering its sides and a pair of huge rotors spinning on top. It must have been an incredibly advanced prototype from the military since it wasn't destroyed by the sound of her chimes.
The door opened, and a Pokemon flew out. It moved impossibly quickly through the air, jolting back and forth before unleashing a flurry of lightning-fast cuts and attacks. They were as harmless as a gust of wind.
When the Pokemon stopped moving, she saw enough to recognize its form. A Togekiss! They were supposed to be some of the fastest Pokemon in the whole world, and they could put up an incredible fight. This one looked like it was raised by an expert trainer, too.
Maybe this would be interesting. Cling-Cling concentrated her power, then let loose a new move that she learned while destroying the city. A beam of light concentrated in front of her, then ripped the sky in half with purple and black energy. The blast cut across the world, leaving a deep trench in the ground in front of her before cutting a deep gorge in the mountains. Then everything the beam touched erupted in a burst of powerful light, eradicating everything for countless miles in any direction. Psybeam was an amazing move.
The helicopter was gone, eaten by the beam, along with her opponent.
``Wow, that didn't last long,'' Chuchubie said with a laugh.
``Yeah, I was hoping that would be a decent battle. All these Pokemon are so small and weak compared to me.''
``You're basically a god. How could you expect them to stand up to you?''
Cling-Cling laughed. ``You make a great point!''
They continued their trek across the world, leaving destruction in their wake. Cling-Cling was immense, wider than landscapes and taller than mountains. Nothing stood in her way, and eventually, the people and Pokemon gave up trying to stop her. When she came to a city, all she had to do was ring her bells and the entire metropolis collapsed into dust. It was wonderful! She boiled the ocean as she cut across it with another Psybeam, then she turned toward a nearby mountain range that went further north. There was something about this particular string of mountains that seemed interesting to her. It was almost like they were familiar, but she couldn't imagine why.
``What are you looking for?'' Chuchubie asked as they continued.
``I don't know,'' Cling-Cling answered. ``I just feel like there's something here that I saw before. Something...'' her thoughts drifted off as she saw it.
The dark mountain rose from a barren section of the ground, its sides made of almost pitch-black stone with its top covered in snow. Winds gusted around the solitary peak, highlighting its jagged form and the huge cliffs that made up its body. She gasped as soon as she saw it. This was the same mountain in her dream!
``I've seen this mountain before...'' she said, suddenly feeling small again. The sky grew darker as she stared at the peak below her. Though it looked so scary in her nightmares, now it was barely more than a hill.
Once the sky was black, a form emerged from the peak and drifted closer to her. Wind tore around her body as the shadows condensed. Part of her wanted to run, but she knew that was silly. Whatever this was, she could handle it.
A red glow cut through the haze, accompanied by an evil laugh that seemed to echo in the wind rushing around her body. Its form slowly came into view. Wispy trails of darkness, jagged red markings, and an eerie white head. There was only one Pokemon it could be.
Darkrai, the nightmare Pokemon.
``You,'' Cling-Cling said. ``You're the one who's been giving me those nightmares!'' Finally, it all made sense. That's the evil aura that surrounded her when she was small, that's why she always saw darkness in her dreams!
Chuchubie laughed. ``Are you still scared of this guy?''
Cling-Cling breathed deeply and settled herself. ``No...'' There was one last Pokemon move she knew, and it was her most powerful. Cling-Cling shook her body and caused all her chimes and bells to ring as one. The shockwave from it radiated outward like the explosion of an apocalyptic weapon, redirecting the wind and ripping the clouds to shreds. Darkrai tried to brace itself, but even a legendary Pokemon was no match for the raw force of her strongest move. Boomburst was a power incarnate.
The shockwave slammed into the black mountain and ripped it to pieces, sending its broken form high into the atmosphere, where boulders then rained down on the globe for thousands of miles in every direction. The nearby forests were decimated, and the landscape was blown to ash.
Nothing was left after the attack except a crater in the ground thousands of miles wide, and countless feet deep. It was a scar the Earth would never recover from, and just one more demonstration of her raw power.
``Look at that,'' Chuchubie said, ``You won again.''
``I used to be so afraid of Darkrai,'' Cling-Cling said as she took in the destruction of her move. ``Now, it's barely even a bug.''
``Was a bug,'' Chuchubie corrected. ``Pretty sure you obliterated him.'' She laughed. ``But come on, don't worry about that jerk. Let's keep playing and having fun!''
There was nothing that could even try to stop them anymore. The more Cling-Cling played, the larger she became, until even the largest Pokemon in the world were nothing more than microscopic dots to her. At least she could still see Chuchubie, who grew along with her.
The planet was once a lush landscape with countless climates and environments. Now, as Cling-Cling and Chuchubie hovered in the reaches of space just beyond its atmosphere, it looked like a smouldering wreck. Huge craters with molten lava bubbling in their centers pockmarked the globe, with churning oceans and destroyed continents. There weren't any cities anymore, and the ice caps were ripped to pieces.
``Looks like we pretty much destroyed it,'' Cling-Cling said. ``It doesn't even look like a planet anymore.''
``Kind of looks like an Oran berry,'' Chuchubie said. ``You know, with all the blue bits, and some dark areas.''
``Oh yeah! I totally see it.'' Cling-Cling gave a smug smile. ``What do you think it'd taste like?''
``I dare you to find out.''
Cling-Cling drifted closer to the Earth. It was about the size of an Oran berry, or at least what she remembered an Oran berry feeling like when she was still tiny-size. She admired it for a few more moments, then let her mouth open. It simply drifted inside, then she let her mouth close around it.
CRUNCH, the Earth broke apart as she chewed. Molten lava spilled into her mouth, coating her tongue in a spicy, almost tangy flavor. It wasn't bad at all! She chewed until the chunks were small enough, then finished it with a gulp.
``How was it?'' Chuchubie asked.
``It was great!'' Cling-Cling answered. ``I kind of want to do it more, but...''
``But what? There are MILLIONS of planets out there to snack on.''
``Really?''
``Yep~ Maybe I'll have one too, once I'm big enough. Come on, there's no reason for us to stop playing.''
``You're right! Let's go.'' With a shimmer and a bright chime, Cling-Cling and Chuchubie flew off into the depths of space. They were bigger than any Pokemon in existence, but their adventure was just beginning.
