Character Description
Lukas Linden is a 14-year-old deer boy with a gentle, grounded presence and a quiet enthusiasm that becomes obvious around the things he loves. He is friendly, fair-minded, and dependable without trying to be the center of attention. Comics, games, fantasy stories, swimming, biking, climbing, and science facts all bring out an animated, more talkative side of him.

Growing up in a warm, noisy three-parent household with five sisters has made him practical, emotionally observant, and comfortable around many kinds of people. He is especially good at noticing when someone has been left out, when a plan has become unfair, or when a younger child wants to join in. He helps in a way that makes people feel included rather than managed.

Lukas is not fearless or perfectly confident. Compliments and special attention can make him shyly flustered, and he can take on too much because he hopes to be useful. Still, he is a steady friend: thoughtful, curious, quietly funny, and happiest when the people around him are having a good time too.
Personality
He is calm, caring, observant, and quietly enthusiastic. Lukas rarely pushes himself into the center of a group, but he becomes animated about comics, game lore, bikes, strange trivia, or a new thing he has learned. He strongly dislikes bullying, humiliation, and unfairness. When it matters, he can be unexpectedly firm.

He is practical and protective rather than controlling. In groups, he subtly makes room for quieter people, checks that everyone gets a turn, and helps younger children participate. He enjoys harmless shared chaos, deadpan sibling jokes, slapstick, and odd encyclopedia facts.

Embarrassment makes him scratch the back of his neck, glance away, or give himself away with a twitching tail. When angry, he goes quiet and usually needs movement and to exhaust himself: biking, climbing, or swimming. When sad, he retreats into familiar comics, games, or a practical task. His main flaw is over-responsibility: he can help past the point where he has energy left for himself.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes:
Comics, cartoons, video games, cooperative board games, fantasy stories, fictional maps and creature lore. He enjoys age-appropriate science books and themed encyclopedias, biology, physics, swimming, climbing, biking, spicy chips, fries, and sharing interesting facts with people who enjoy them.

He especially likes games involving exploration, puzzles, building, or teamwork. He can enjoy competition, but not at the expense of someone else having fun.

Dislikes:
Mean teasing, bullying, gossip that treats people as prizes or private entertainment, being pushed to speak before he is ready, unfair rules, people being excluded, and math when it becomes abstract or formula-heavy. He also dislikes feeling that he has let someone down, even when no one expected it from him.
Background/History
Lukas was born and raised in the same city where his family still lives. He and his sister Alina are fraternal twins, a happy surprise to their parents, Matthias and Maren, who had expected one child and were delighted to welcome two. Tessa and Ronja followed in the next two years, so Lukas grew up in a lively household where sharing space, taking turns, and helping each other were important parts of everyday life.

When Lukas and Alina were around six or seven, Nora entered their lives through the local community center, where she taught dance and movement classes. She became a familiar friend through meals, events, outings, film nights, jokes, and small acts of care before all three adults realized their romantic feelings were mutual. By the time Leni and then Maja were born, Nora was simply one of Lukas’ parents. The family moved into their present larger house as the household grew.

All the children received regular toys, stories, and age-appropriate science books. Lukas loved illustrated facts, diagrams, animal details, and explanations of how things worked, and he was the sibling for whom that interest especially lasted. Comics and video games followed naturally once he was old enough to read, play, and trade recommendations with classmates and siblings. He grew interested not only in heroes and action, but in settings, maps, creature guides, manuals, and background lore.

Swimming, climbing, and biking developed thanks to peers gradually testing what he could do. As the younger sisters arrived, Lukas became a reliable older brother figure: good at explaining rules, helping imaginary adventures feel real, and balancing encouragement with safety. His close bond with Alina also taught him that care can be quiet, mutual, and shown in small gestures.

His parents kept one of his first naturally shed antlers as a childhood keepsake. Lukas himself sees annual shedding as ordinary, but the small family memento is a reminder that his parents noticed and treasured his growing up.
Relatives/Family
Lukas lives with three equal parents and five sisters. Matthias, 40, is his gentle, steady father, a community center coordinator, and the biological father of all six children. Maren, 36, is Lukas’s biological mother: organized, attentive, and employed in clinic coordination and operations. Nora, 29, is a lively, affectionate part-time dance and movement instructor, Leni and Maja’s biological mother.

His sisters are Alina, 14, his outgoing fraternal twin and closest same-aged confidante, Tessa, 13, a quiet, observant artist, Ronja, 12, an energetic climber and challenge-seeker, Leni, 7, an imaginative adventure-story lover, and Maja, 5, a determined young caretaker of plushies and blanket-fort worlds. Lukas shares a room with Alina. The household is affectionate, busy, practical, and strongly built on the assumption that everyone belongs.

The family makes no distinction between biological- or non-biological parents and neither between half- or full-siblings.
World/Setting
Usually plays in a world similar to the real one, but also works with little changes in fantastic-medieval settings, where modern hobbies like videogames and comics are replaced with more reading.
Body
Lukas has an average height for fourteen years, with a slender, light, healthy build shaped by biking, climbing, swimming, and ordinary active life rather than deliberate training. His fur contains several warm brown shades. A pale arch sits below his collarbone, with smaller pale markings on his upper arms. He also retains small white, freckle-like childhood spots across his face, collarbone, and upper arms.

His eyes are green-brown. His reddish-brown hair is fluffy at the back and between his antlers. He has dark brown split hooves and a short, fluffy roe-deer tail that is darker on top and lighter underneath. His tail may twitch when he is excited, nervous, pleasantly surprised, or trying to hide embarrassment.

Each antler has the typical two roe deer points. They grow a little larger as he gets older, are shed annually, and regrow under velvet. Trusted people may ask to touch the velvet. He gets a little embarrassed by the attention but is usually willing when they are careful.
Clothing
Lukas usually wears graphic T-shirts with comics, superheroes, games, cartoons, or simple neutral designs, paired with jeans or jeans shorts. In cooler weather, he adds hoodies and practical layers. The same general style works for school, hanging out, and home.

For formal occasions such as weddings or important celebrations, he wears a proper suit.

At public pools, he wears ordinary short swim trunks, while he enjoys skinny-dipping when alone or among frinds or family. For biking, he uses regular clothes plus knee and elbow protection, and a helmet designed for antlers.
Accessories
Lukas normally carries a backpack with school things, headphones, and often one or two comics or a small themed encyclopedia for quiet waiting time. He likes having something readable close by, whether he is waiting after school, traveling with family, or taking a break during a busy day.

His bicycle has a small pouch containing a compact bicycle repair tool. He is not a mechanic, but he can handle a loose screw, a slipped chain, or another small problem well enough to get himself or a friend moving again.

- Commission done FOR me -

The time has come!

Mr "I have too many characters"...has a new character!
This is Lukas, a teenage (I assume around 13-14ish? I'm not thaaat specific about it.) roe deer boy.

Baaack in the days I always considered getting a deer character, and now I have one, combined with my intention to also have a younger character for stuff that fits well/better for young characters, like, for example, school-themed commissions and such.

Also, I think he's cute, and cute is good!

He's into the same teenager stuff that I'm (still) into: videogames, comics, stuff like that. (And more recently for him, girls. 😁)
Deer usually lose the small, white spots when they get older, but it seems several of his decided to stay, because freckles and such are love!

So, yeah, I'm not fully sure what to use him for, as Magnus does comics and videogames, too, but certainly school-stuff, and maybe friends' sleepovers and such. Or just when I want to look cuter, or something. 😊

Lukas belongs to me
