I think I mentioned something about seeing Sparaxis again soon, didn't I? Didn't expect it to be this soon, did you? Well, third year in a row I got a pride piece done and I wanted it to feature this guy. And much the same as my other yearly pieces, I have LuthienNightwolf to thank for bringing this to life.
It's not the traditional "flag waving" pride piece that everyone expects, but then again last year's wasn't either? A bit deconstructed, true, but I feel with as many orientations fall under pride, a bit of variety in celebrating should also be expected. When in doubt, celebrate who you are, wherever you are! Happy pride y'all!
Also, the botanically inclined amongst you might notice that the flowers aren't actually lilies, and you'd be right. However I consider the Peruvian lily to be an honorary member of the group, for Sparaxis, they count! Also want to point out their little friend, Ildaite the Gouldian Finch. A pride-coded bird if ever I saw one!
