If you hold the bow too tight your shot is off to the right (or in his case left) that is why the bow went backwards... it's just attention to detail guys.

lmao.. should I have not asked about the bow? I actually love long bow and had a lot of fun with the one I had until I gave it to my nephew. My biggest issue was that it was the first bow I have ever shot and the string was too long so it slapped me in the hand everytime I shot it. I finally took it back and asked what the hell this can't be right. They put the right size line on it and it shot like a dream.... never turned around on me though :P Next bow I get I'll have to try it though see how it works out and if I can gain any awsome points. I really like the lighting on the archery picture. And yeah, I have seen bows turn around like that too, so I won't ask about that. I think the icons are lovely, I like them all! Is the heart one showing his love of cookies? The more obvious question is, what the heck has he been eating that he's puking up rainbows and kitty pop tarts?

I just got the idea because every archer in the Shining Force games has the bow spin around after firing. On some further research it appears that it's a trait unique to Japanese bows since they were designed with cylindrical grips as opposed to Western bows which where flat and easier to prevent from turning. Since Shining Force is supposed to be a more Western setting is would appear than the game designers got it wrong :P
