"Few weeks ago we found a strange surprise on our colony gates, a large strange hyena woman, she was naked and her body had large patches of exposed flesh full of scars, two small horns protuding from her forehead and only a damaged bang of hair hanged from her head, her voice sounded rasp , she was calm but I could feel she was desperate to find shelter among us, it was not the first time we had a supicious recruit so I just let her in and presented her for Danadriel's judgement.
Danadriel's "Truth Saying" never failed, we forced everyone who wanted to join the colony to pass trough it and we found many traitors and hidden cultists this way...but this time was different...this strange woman was imune to Danadriel's mind control, wich made Danadriel visibly infuriated, so we had to interrogate her in the old fashioned way, she claimed she had no name or memory of her past, she woke up in the remains of a improvized cultist temple 6 days ago and have been surviving out of carcasses she found trough the wasteland.
Despite our suspicions about her we let her stay, we imposed some conditions for it which she promptly agreed, first we had to ask her to shower, her stench was umberable, even after significant cleaning she still had a lingering smell that was unpleasant to stay around, but we remediated it some strong smelling herb oils we had. She claimed to be a nocturnal creature, she said the sun hurt her eyes and harmed her skin, so she was assigned to our night shift wich was good so Danadriel and Hatchet could keep an eye on her.
as the days passed she proved to be a quite resourceful workshop assistant, despite the suspicion Danadriel allowed her to create her own weapons and armor so she could help in a eventual fight. she chose to be called Abby , a very cute name for someone who looks so scary.
Inevitably there was more fights, its rare to pass a week in this colony without some kind of crisis, we had all sorts of nasty creatures bat down our doors, undead, grotesque mutants, cultists, invisible predators, yet Abby fought all of them without flinching, she may lack the finnesse but she definitively has the strenght and brutality to fight the creatures of the darkness...but the question still lingers...can we really trust her?"
