An Electrifying Titan
By Sokz
The lush forest was beautiful this time of year. Kiana loved it. From the chirping of the bug Pokemon in the trees to the scuttling Rattata in the undergrowth, it was her home and it was lovely.
The little Pikachu walked down one of the paths that cut through the forest. Dappled sunlight came through the leaves above her and brightened the rocks, blades of grass, and berry bushes on either side of her. She smiled as a Pidgey flapped down from one of the higher branches, landed on the ground a few paces away, and pulled a red berry off its vine before flying away.
There were some annoying Pokemon in the forest, but she hadn't encountered any today. That mean Primeape that liked to go around punching and kicking anything smaller than it was probably on the other side of the area, curled up in its den. That was for the best. Though Kiana could defend herself without too much trouble, she didn't enjoy fighting. She much preferred to run through the meadows with the other Pikachu or go on calming walks in the forest.
A glitter caught her eye as she moved further into the woods. It came from her left, just off the trail she followed. Curious, and with a twitch of her tail, she hopped into the surrounding bushes and pushed through the undergrowth until she came to a clearing.
It was an odd little spot that she didn't recognize. Trees surrounded it and cast the entire area in green shadows, except for a rock sitting in the very center. A beam of sunlight perfectly illuminated its flat form and the tufts of grass around it. Some flowers were sprinkled through the clearing, their pink and yellow petals moving in the faint breeze.
But what caught her eye was the necklace resting upon the rock. It was beautiful! A pink stone in the center of a gold chain caught the sunlight and refracted it in ways that Kiana had never seen before. When she moved her head, it glowed as if lightning was trapped inside its faceted form.
She hopped a little closer, unable to resist the draw of something so beautiful. She usually tried to avoid humans and anything they made, but this was too amazing. It only sparkled more brightly as the Pikachu hopped onto the stone and picked the necklace up into her hands.
It was heavy, warm, and electrifying. She giggled as a bit of her stored up electricity sparked out of her cheeks and zapped the stone. Did it glow even brighter when that happened? It was hard to tell, but maybe.
She glanced around. No trainers were in sight, and she didn't even see any other Pokemon. Someone left this here.
Seemed like a waste to just leave it to rust. So, with a playful smirk, she placed the necklace on her head and let it slip down over her neck. The weight of it felt reassuring, and the gemstone was warm against her chest. The electricity inside her surged. She felt her power increasing as though she were standing in the center of a thunderstorm. Tiny sparks leapt from her cheeks and the tip of her tail, then spiralled around the gemstone as its glow intensified even more.
When it calmed, she realized things were different. The clearing looked smaller. A LOT smaller.
She turned around in shock, only to have her tail accidentally bash into a nearby tree and splinter its trunk. The large plant groaned, then fell over with a huge impact onto the ground.
Kiana stood there, stunned, as she observed the world. She was almost as large as the trees now! The rock she stood on just a few seconds ago was now as small as her toes, and she couldn't even make out the blades of grass around her feet. How did that happen? How did she grow so large!?
The necklace, she realized! It had to be the necklace. It took her natural electric power and used it to make her grow... which also increased her electric power. The formerly tiny Pikachu smirked. She could still feel the electricity coursing through her body, making her grow steadily taller.
Soon she'd be bigger than the trees. Then the forest. Then maybe even the world! She laughed at the thought of herself trampling across the planet and hopping around the landscapes. No... she probably wouldn't get that large. But she could still have a lot of fun with this.
Though she tried not to destroy too many of the trees as she went, it was hard when she was as tall as them. They just grew too close together! Her hips bashed into a few as she walked, and each sway as her backside accidentally slammed her tail into a few others. It was annoying after just a few steps, so she charged forward. Her feet slammed into the ground with a thunderous impact as she ran, barrelling into trees and bushes, crushing everything in front of her with barely any effort. She had to admit that it was fun toppling the trees once she pushed past her worries. They just had such a satisfying crunch to them. To think that just a few minutes ago, a tree seemed like such an impossibly imposing thing. She could run against it, punch it, and slam into it a thousand times, and it wouldn't budge a single inch. Now, she barely had to lean against them and their roots ripped right out of the ground.
She giggled as Pokemon fled from in front of her. Pidgey took wing and flapped away, squawking in annoyance. Wurmple scuttled away from her crushing paws. Other tiny Pikachu darted out of the way.
Did she stomp on a few of them as she went? The thought crossed her mind, but for some reason she didn't really care. They were tiny now, and she was BIG.
She made it almost across the forest before she felt something slam into her rear end. It didn't hurt or anything, but it was enough of an impact that it caught her attention and made her stop. With a curious look, she turned around to see what hit her.
``Hey!'' the ball of fluff and anger shouted. It stood in the cleared area left in her wake, steam practically shooting out of its ears as it stared at her. ``What do you think you're doing! You woke me up from my nap.''
Once, Kiana would have been intimidated by this Primeape. Now, she thought he looked cute. ``Oh, did I?'' she said with a grin.
``Yeah, you did! Didn't anyone ever tell you who I am? The king of the forest! The lord of these woods. I own every single one of these trees and every single berry. If I want to take a nap, then you BETTER STAY QUIET or else I'm gonna...'' the Pokemon trailed off as Kiana walked a bit closer. She loomed over him, casting him in shadow.
``Gonna what?'' she asked innocently as she looked down at the tiny Pokemon. He was barely even as tall as one of her paws.
``I'm gonna... uh...''
``Attack me, maybe?''
``Yeah! I'll beat you up!'' She lowered herself so that she was closer to the tiny Pokemon. Still smiling, she reached for him and grabbed him in her hand. ``Wait!'' the Primeape shouted as she lifted it into the air. ``What are you doing!?''
``You look cute,'' she said with a chuckle. ``I just want to hold and squeeze you~''
``Stop it, this isn't how you battle! You have to... ah!''
She pressed the little Primeape to her cheek and squished him up and down. With a warm, ``Chu~'' her electric powers surged outward and flooded his body with energy. His body contorted as the Nuzzle attack completely overwhelmed him, until he fainted from the surge of static.
``Aw, done already?'' she said as she held the Pokemon's charred body in front of her, its eyes spinning around in its head. ``That's fine. You did your best.'' She tossed the Primeape deeper into the forest without a second thought.
Now she could keep playing.
Countless trees crunched under her paw as she took a step forward. Tiny bird Pokemon fluttered from the carnage and dispersed into the trees nearby, each one barely a speck to the giant Pikachu that towered over everything. Kiana was HUGE. She spent the morning hopping through the forest, stomping through trees, walking across rivers, and trampling everything below her into dust. Now she was so large that the massive oaks that once soared above her head barely came up to the top of her feet.
She never imagined being this big would be so fun. Each time she stepped forward, she felt the delightful crunch and crack of a thousand different things breaking under her weight. Every motion had impact, and everything she did was immense.
If she swished her tail over the treetops, it caused a breeze that ripped leaves from the branches and billowed all the way across the forest. If she laughed, the ground below her shook with each reverberation. If she jumped... well, there was a large crater a little behind her that was a result of her last hop.
No Pokemon could stop her now. A few Beedrill tried, but she swatted them away with her tail and then walked over them. She could take on an entire horde of Primeape and not even sweat. She was bigger than any other Pokemon and she knew how to use her power. She walked around the countryside for a while, taking in all the sights from a perspective few others would ever be able to experience. Outside of the forest were a bunch of rounded hills, then small human settlements beyond. She walked through these without much interest. People ran from under her feet as she trampled their houses to dust and smashed their cars into hunks of scrap.
A few trainers tried to stop her. They sent out their best Pokemon to battle. A Charizard, a Machamp, a Snorlax, each one honed from countless battles and willing to use their strongest attacks. It didn't matter. She brushed off the flamethrower, barely blinked at the flurry of punches, and almost laughed when the Snorlax's hyper beam blasted into her tummy. These tiny things weren't worth the effort of an attack. She just lifted her foot and trampled through them.
From there, she followed one of the humans' roads until she found something new and interesting. It was a huge collection of human buildings that rested on a coastline. The glass structures were even bigger than she was, and their bright surfaces reflected the sunshine. It seemed interesting, and if nothing else, fun to break.
With a smirk, she walked closer. Her feet smashed down on the outskirts of the city first, destroying roads, bridges, and infrastructure with each movement. Three story brownstones crumbled under her weight while people and Pokemon frantically tried to move out of her way. Most of them were too slow, and her feet pounded them into the dirt.
She paused when she came to the first building that matched her height. It was nearly fifty stories tall, with an entire flat wall of windows that allowed her to look in on all the tiny Pokemon moving around inside. They froze when she brought her face close to the glass. A Mr.Mime dropped the papers he carried while a Porygon fled for the stairwell. Vulpix screamed in shock while a group of Oddish ran towards the other side of the building. It didn't matter. Kiana already knew what she was going to do.
The giant Pikachu spun around and slammed her tail into the side of the building. It erupted in a burst of concrete, dust, and broken steel. The entire structure groaned as her tail cut clean through it, severing it in two halves. Then the top crashed into the bottom, and the structure crumbled into a heap of broken metal.
Kiana giggled. That was more fun than she expected it to be!
She glanced forward at all the other buildings and skyscrapers in the city. She could play here for hours.
Boom, boom, BOOM! The tiny Machamp could only stare in horror as the Pikachu walked closer. His jaw was agape even as his Machoke friend tried to drag him away. People and other Pokemon were running in the street all around him, screaming, shouting, trying to escape. What did it matter? She was so huge that she'd trample everything.
BOOM! The stomps came closer and the Machamp was eclipsed in her shadow.
Buildings tumbled on either side of the street as her stomps shattered foundations and her tail swooshed into anything left standing. Dust clouded the street level and made her look like a godly figure emerging out of the mist.
But she wasn't a god, she was a Pikachu. A single Pikachu that should have been so much smaller and weaker than a Machamp. Yet, for all the hours he spent at the gym and the countless battles he went through as training, the Machamp wasn't even as strong as a single one of her toes.
The Pikachu lifted her foot again. The Machamp saw the heavy underside, her plush paw dotted with broken pieces of concrete, shattered rubble, spots of dirt, and the twisted metal of all the cars she had previously trampled. He looked up at it as she brought it over his head, her smiling face visible for one last moment before his sky became the underside of her paw.
Then it came down.
BOOM
Kiana giggled as the tallest building in the city crumbled into a mess of debris. The shockwave caused many of the nearby towers to follow in a chain reaction that left a huge chunk of the city in ruins. These humans really needed to build stuff better. How did they manage to create so many of these skyscrapers when they were so delicate?
It didn't matter much to her. This way, they were even more fun to crunch. She continued growing as she hopped around and played with the city. Where she was once barely as tall as the buildings on the outskirts of town, she now looked down at everything. One hundred stories tall and weighing more than any single object left in the city, she was a true titan that nothing could hope to stop.
But that didn't prevent the humans from trying. Kiana frowned when she felt a flurry of pops and sizzles along her back. They barely singed her fur, but it was still irritating. She turned to see a series of fighter jets roaring around her, their next barrage of missiles already armed. Why were these humans so aggressive? All she wanted to do was play around with their toys!
She tracked the fighter jets as they flew around her backside. With a sly grin, she prepared her answer and let loose an attack as they circled close to her tail. She wasn't usually a fan of this move, since it was rather strong and violent, but this seemed like the perfect occasion to try it out again.
Her tail became as solid as iron as she concentrated her power inside of it, then swung it in a wide and sweeping arc. Like the largest greatsword to ever exist, it cut through the air in a roar and struck the fighter jets just as they were about to launch their missiles. Their metal frames buckled and detonated almost the instant they came in contact with her tail, the resulting fireballs bright enough to be seen for miles.
But the attack was not finished. Kiana followed through on the move and swung her body in a great circle, pulling her tail through countless buildings and structures around her. Each one erupted as though they were packed with explosives. Glass and concrete flew in every direction as the fires spread. The sound of metal falling thousands of feet thundered in the ears of anyone unfortunate enough to hear.
When the air cleared, Kiana looked around to find herself standing in a large circle of destruction. If a building wasn't directly hit by her iron tail, it was ripped apart by the following shockwave. The entire center of the city was leveled.
All from a single attack.
It only took one step to decimate an entire city district. It was laughable how fragile all of the buildings were now that she was titanic in scale. She looked down on everything the humans had ever built, and laughed. Did they really think they could equal her?
She had played with the city for almost an hour, and grew to enormous size during that time. Now, even the tallest remaining structures were smaller than her toes. When she took a step, an immense crater of burning rock was left in her wake. She couldn't even shift positions without destroying something that the humans had spent years trying to build.
The city was so small and already so destroyed that there was only one thing left to do. Wipe it off the map entirely.
A tiny Charmander looked up at the sky with a smile wavering on his face. Somehow, he had survived the majority of her attacks, but he knew that it would end soon. Everything in the city was going to be destroyed. All the Pokemon that dashed this way and that, all the people blaring their horns as they sat in traffic, it didn't matter. None of them were getting out of this. But that wasn't a bad thing! The Charmander was scared at first, but as he watched the Pikachu grow bigger and bigger and bigger, he realized that this was just the nature of the world. She was a god now, and what better honor could there be than getting smashed by a deity so much bigger than anything that had ever existed?
He sat on a flat rock in the center of a park. Bird Pokemon flew overhead in clusters while Rattata skittered into the undergrowth and tried to dig into the dirt. Didn't they see the craters left behind whenever she walked? Going a few feet underground wouldn't stop anything. His tail wagged behind him as he stared at the sky and waited for his turn. How was it going to happen? Would she step on him? Would a building fall on him? He hoped it would involve some contact with her body, since that felt like it would mean more.
The Charmander leaned forward, eyes bright, as the immense Pikachu loomed over his part of the city. She was so huge that it was hard to make out her features. Her adorable face was masked by the distance and tinted a faint shade of blue by the miles of atmosphere between them. Even the clouds couldn't rival her height as they were blown into her belly and broken apart.
Charmander waited for her to lift her foot, but she did something else instead. The giant turned around, then moved her butt over the world. The Charmander almost hopped on his rock in delight. So many others were crushed under her feet, but he was going to be sat on! It made him feel special.
BOOM! Her rear end crushed down onto the city like a mountain crashing into Earth. The world trembled under her butt as the ground buckled around her. A wave of dirt shot outward and decimated not only the city, but everything around it for miles in every direction. Nothing was left except for a crater that perfectly matched her rear end.
With a silly smile, Kiana hopped out of the crater and walked away from the ruined city. There was nothing fun left to play with.
She could see so much of the world from her new position above the clouds. There were other swaths of human civilization, and some of them were even bigger than the city she had crushed! Maybe she should walk through them and trample them into dust just like the last. As she was debating the idea, three small dots of light flew in front of her face. Usually, she just ignored any of these things, since they were gnats compared to her. None of the humans' fighter jets could hurt her, and their strongest missiles didn't even get past her fur. So why would she care?
But there was something special about this trio. They were different from the military stuff. She squinted and peered closely at the flying objects, but they were still too small to make out... until they attacked.
Blasts of elemental fury erupted from each of them, and finally it was enough to put the pieces together. These weren't just some human vehicle or a random bird Pokemon, they were the legendary trio!
Articuno sent a Blizzard that made tiny ice crystals form on the tip of Kiana's nose while
Moltres used Overheat to blast her belly with a gust of warm air. Then Zapdos attacked with a Zap Cannon that could have obliterated a small town. But Kiana was very used to eclectic attacks, so it did even less than the others.
She giggled as the trio continued to circle her, sending their strongest attacks in an attempt to take her down once and for all. Moltres tickled the tip of her ear with its fire while Articuno blasted the ends of her arm fur with ice. Zapdos did its best.
And then another attack came from a fourth source that she hadn't noticed before. Compressed air shot from below her and ruffled the fur on her belly with almost enough force to tickle. When she focused on the attacker, she found Lugia hovering before her. So a mythic Pokemon showed up to battle her as well! She felt honored.
Before she could do anything, a fifth and final attack joined the others. It came from the sky above her, the attacker hidden as it flew through a glistening rainbow. Even still, Ho-oh's Sky Attack didn't do much other than tickle the back of her head.
Three legendary Pokemon, she could handle. Four? That wasn't too bad. But five? Five legendaries, all circling her and launching their strongest moves with every ounce of strength in their bodies was a bit annoying.
She waited for them to try their very best, then answered with an attack of her own once they were tired and worn out. Back in the forest, there were a few times when she hopped into a bad position and found herself surrounded by nasty Pokemon. She remembered a pack of Beedrill that were very angry with her when she wanted to snag some tasty honey from a tree they were nesting inside.
But she knew how to handle a swarm.
Back then, she collected a bit of electricity in her body and let it shoot out like a
thunderstorm. Today, at the size of a god, the Thunder attack was more like an apocalypse. The sky darkened and the air shattered. Bolts of lightning as large as mountains tore through the air and ripped the world apart. The ground was turned molten by the energy as the air glowed with ionizing bursts. Nothing could withstand it. Not the tiny Pokemon living on the ground near her feet, the fish in the nearby oceans, the flying Pokemon in the air, or the legendaries that tried to stop her.
In a chaotic rain of lightning, an entire continent was eradicated.
As Kiana stood in the smoldering aftermath, she nervously bit her lip. Okay, that might have been a bit overkill.
The world trembled with every step. Kiana was so big that she could see the very curvature of the planet along the horizon. Clouds broke across her belly as she walked, and the tallest skyscrapers were barely as big as a single strand of fur. Whenever her foot fell, entire ecosystems were eradicated. She crushed forests without much notice, flattened mountain ranges, and turned entire deserts into glass. She smashed a bunch of human houses too, but they were so small that she didn't even notice.
The military tried to stop her at first, but it was completely pointless. Their largest bombs were just tiny flashes against her fur now. She didn't even feel them.
Kiana paused when she came to another city. These giant structures were the only thing she could interact with anymore. Everything else was just so tiny. But she liked these cities. She liked how fragile they were, and how crunchy they felt whenever she put even the slightest bit of pressure on them. So far, she had stomped through a few of them, sat on a few of them, and even used her nuzzle attack to electrify one into dust. What should she do with this cluster of buildings, then?
A cute idea came to her. She walked forward until she was standing over the city, then carefully lowered herself onto her hands and knees so that her face was only a few inches (to her) above the ground. From so close, she could just barely make out the grid of the buildings and the flashing lights of the thousands of cars desperately trying to drive away from her. She slowly let her face lower as she opened her mouth. When she was close enough to feel the buildings bristling her fur, she extended her wide, pink tongue and flattened it against the ground. In a long lick, a huge chunk of the center of the city was swiped into her mouth. It felt funny inside of her maw. Crunchy, chunky, a little firm, but kind of fun at the same time. The taste didn't even compare to one of the berries in the forest, but it had its charm. She giggled as she swallowed everything in her mouth and went back for another lick.
After a few more long pulls with her tongue, she tried something new. There was only a small portion of the city left directly below her, its towers almost shattered and its streets cluttered by debris. Still, it looked so small and cute below her. She just wanted to kiss it~
So that's what she did. Kiana puckered her lips, then pressed them against the last remaining bit of the city. She flattened buildings against her soft skin and embraced the few Pokemon remaining in a tender embrace.
The little Charmander would have been so jealous.
Kiana smiled as she looked at the different sized footprints littering the globe. Some of them were relatively tiny, about as big as one of the human settlements. Others were as massive as entire countries. She had grown to such immense proportions that nothing could compete with her anymore, and the landscape itself was small by comparison. Her head was so high in the sky that she could see the stars even when it was daytime. If she was bored by the sun, she could just walk for a few minutes and make it onto a part of the globe that was in night time.
The humans stopped trying to attack her a while ago, probably because their military bases were accidentally crushed under her toes while walking around. She completely obliterated an entire navy when she crossed the ocean, boiling millions of tons of water with each step. Even the legendary Pokemon left her alone!
Or maybe they didn't. Honestly, at her size it would be hard to tell. Was there a Groudon near her toes blasting her with magma? Was Palkia or Dialga rending space and time against her butt? She wouldn't even be able to tell, and the thought made her so happy.
Her paw came down on another patch of the world, turning it into a disheveled crater. It was funny how everything felt like mud once she was big enough. The ground liquified every time her foot came down.
It took a bit, but eventually she found a city that was noticeable amongst the surrounding wilderness. Its once huge towers rested on a coastline with a million lights glittering against the darkness of night. This must have been something really, really important to these people... but to her it was just a slightly glowing piece of ground.
She lowered herself into a crouch, then slid her hand under the city. Her fingers curled under the bedrock, then she lifted the entire megastructure as if it were just a patch of moss on the ground.
Even when she held it up to her face, it looked unimpressive. The buildings were so small that they barely even stuck out of the ground, and all the roads and houses built on the outskirts were barely more than microscopic dots. She smiled as she thought about all the living things she held in her hand. How many Pokemon were staring up at her now, marveling at a figure so titanically huge that they weren't even in the same world anymore? Millions? Billions?
She lifted a finger on her free hand and poked the center of the city. Skyscrapers were destroyed and a good chunk of the cluster was set on fire just from the energy released by the tiny movement. It was becoming hard to interact with these things in any way that didn't vaporize them instantly.
Well, maybe that was for the best. She was a god now, right?
With a warm smile, she let her fingers close around the city and crumble it to slurry. The buildings were buried in burning mud as she compressed the entire mass into her palm, then rubbed it back and forth between her hands. It kind of felt like hot, crunchy berry paste!
It all fell back to the ground when she let her hands open.
And so ended the greatest city the world had ever known.
Kiana kept growing even after there was nothing to rival her amazing scale. Her footprints became so large that they changed the face of the planet. When she walked, she could see waves rippling out from her steps as though the entire surface of the globe had been turned to water.
Soon, everything was destroyed and churned into a hot mass of fire and crumbled ground. A few select spots remained safe, but they were the vast, vast minority. As she stood, paws pressed into a crater of molten earth miles deep, she observed a world that was completely bent and dominated to her will. She was everything now.
The necklace continued to spark and radiate. She wasn't done growing. Soon she'd be big enough to hop off the Earth and fly into space. She could squash the moon between her paws, then kiss the planet to pieces. Then...
Well, there was no telling how huge she could be. Maybe one day she could even have the universe between her toes.
