Episode 46: Shopping with Sylvex

Once they were in Adventure City again, they decided to forget everything about the plane crash and started a new life together.
They have also met with the CIA and confirmed that Jerony's death two years ago was fake because he's survived.
In fact, Sylvex the ninja puppy heard that Jerony was still alive and was together with the puppies, she hurriedly left Japan and flew to Adventure City.
One day, it was an usual Sunday morning.
On that Sunday, the puppies as usual, visited the Paws Paradise dog park to train and play. They had grown so much, their skills sharper than ever.
The sun was shining, and the scent of freshly cut grass filled the air as they raced around the obstacle course, their tails wagging in pure bliss.
Meanwhile at Jerony's Luxurious house.
At that time Jerony was inside his Rubicon jeep that was still parked in front of his house, he staring at the shopping list that he will use for buying groceries.
"Okay, so we need milk, dog food, pup treat, eggs, and... Oh no, I forgot to write down the cheese!" He murmured to himself.
He pulled a ballpoint pen from the center console and scribbled 'Cheese' at the bottom of the list before tossing the pen back.
But suddenly, he was shocked by someone.
"Master!!!!!" Sylvex's excited bark pierced the quiet morning air, when she suddenly was seen standing on the hood of the Rubicon jeep "hi, Master Jerony!!!"
"Huuuhh... Sylvex!!?!!... I thought you were going with the puppies to Paws Paradise!" Jerony's eyes widened with surprise.
"Oopps, sorry, Master Jerony... Um, where will you go, Master?" Sylvex asked, her tail wagging in excitement.
Jerony opened the door and stepped out of the Rubicon, his heart racing.
"I'll go to the minimarket, to restock on some supplies," Jerony replied, ruffling Sylvex's fur.
"Um... Can I come with you, Master Jerony?" Sylvex asked with a hopeful expression, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
"Are you sure, Sylvex?" Jerony looked at her with a hint of amusement "you won't miss your training with the others?"
"No, I've had enough training for today," Sylvex replied with a wink "besides... I've been looking forward to spending some quality time with you, Master."
"Alright, it's okay... But... Have you pee'd yet?" Jerony asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Uuuuummm, nope... Besides, I don't feel the need to pee yet," Sylvex said, her eyes sparkling with excitement "let's go, Master!"
"Go pee first," Jerony laughed, pointing towards the bushes.
"But Master... I don't need to pee," Sylvex protested, her tail wagging with excitement.
"Just go pee, Sylvex... It's better that you pee first before we go," Jerony said, his voice firm but loving.
"Eeerrrhhh... Alright, wait for me, Master," Sylvex said, reluctantly hopping down from the jeep and trotting towards the bushes "don't leave me!!!"
While Sylvex did her business, Jerony took the time to gather his thoughts.
Having her back was like a breath of fresh air, but it also brought back memories of their past adventures and the unanswered questions about the plane crash. He couldn't help but wonder if there was more to the story than he had been told.
A few minutes later, Sylvex returned, her tail wagging more than usual.
"Ready, Master!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement.
"Come in, Sylvex," Jerony called out, his heart warming at the sight of her.
The jeep's engine roared to life as they headed towards the minimarket.
The streets of Adventure City were bustling with activity, children playing in the neighborhoods, and the distant sounds of a bustling city life filled the air.
"Why you taking so long just for peeing, Sylvex?" Jerony asked, a smirk playing on his lips as he watched her through the rearview mirror.
"Hehehe, yeah... Honestly, I haven't peeing since two days ago," Sylvex said with a giggle.
"Why two days, Sylvex?" Jerony couldn't hide his surprise "you know that's not good for your health."
"I was used to holding my pee for a long time, because as a ninja puppy, I need to keep my concentration," Sylvex explained, her eyes sparkling with pride "but don't worry, Master, I'm okay!"
Jerony couldn't help but chuckle at her enthusiasm, "alright, let's not make it a habit, okay?"
Sylvex's ears perked down slightly.
"Okay, Master... I promise I won't hold it in that long again," she said with a sheepish look.
As they drove through the familiar streets, Jerony felt a sense of nostalgia wash over him. It had been so long since he had been back in the city with all his pups.
"What should we will buy later at the minimarket, Master?" Sylvex asked, her curiosity peaking.
"Well... Stock of dog food, pup-treat, then... Cleaning supplies and... The most important thing... Hershell's diapers," Jerony said with a chuckle.
"Hehe, I didn't believe Hershell still needs those," Sylvex teased, jumping into the seat next to him.
"Yeah... I don't care he need to wear diaper forever, as long as he's happy," Jerony said, his voice filled with affection as he turned the wheel of the Rubicon jeep into the minimarket's parking lot.
The minimarket was a hub of activity, with shoppers bustling in and out. The bell chimed cheerfully as they entered, and the smell of freshly baked bread filled the air.
Sylvex's eyes widened with excitement at the sight of all the treats and toys available for purchase.
"I never know this place... This is... Amazing!" Sylvex said as she looked around the minimarket with wide eyes.
This is the first time for her to come to this kind of place, and she was overwhelmed by the sight of all the treats and toys.
Her tail wagged uncontrollably as she spotted a display of colorful chew toys.
"Master, can you buy me some toys?" Sylvex pleaded, her eyes glued to the colorful chew toys.
"Toys? But you're a ninja, not a regular pup," Jerony said with a smirk.
"Even though I was a ninja, but I'm still a puppy at heart," Sylvex said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Jerony couldn't resist her puppy-eyes and chuckled, "okay, maybe later... We need to get the important stuff first."
They navigated the aisles, filling their basket with dog food, treats, and the ever-important diapers for Hershell.
Sylvex's eyes kept darting to the toy section, her tail wagging whenever she spotted something that caught her fancy.
"Master... Now?!?? Can we get toys now?" Sylvex asked, her eyes glinted with excitement as they finished shopping for the essentials.
"Alright alright... You can pick one toy, Sylvex," Jerony relented, a soft smile playing on his lips.
He knew that she had missed out on a lot of puppy experiences when she became a ninja.
Her tail wagging like a metronome, Sylvex dashed back to the toy section with a bark of delight.
She sniffed around, her nose leading her to a particular shelf. Her eyes lit up when she found a chew toy that resembled a miniature ninja star. She picked it up with her mouth and trotted back to Jerony, her tail waving like a proud flag.
"Master, I want this one!" Sylvex barked, dropping the ninja-star-shaped chew toy into the basket.
Jerony chuckled, "alright, but remember, only one... Let's go to the cashier."
At the counter, an old woman with spectacles beamed at the sight of Jerony and Sylvex.
"Oh, what a good girl," she cooed, reaching out to pat Sylvex's head "is she new to your family?"
"Actually, she is an old member, it's just that I assigned her in Japan, but now she's back with us," Jerony said, watching Sylvex eagerly dropping the ninja-star chew toy on the conveyor belt.
The old woman's eyes widened with curiosity.
"Ah, so you're a special group of pups! Your kind is rare, you know," she said, her eyes twinkling.
"Well... I'm a ninja puppy," Sylvex said proudly, her ears standing tall.
The old woman's eyes grew even wider, "a ninja puppy? Now, that's something you don't see every day!"
Sylvex wagged her tail, feeling a bit shy under the spotlight.
"Indeed, she's quite the special one," Jerony just laughed and nodded.
"Alright... The total is all this, plus the ninja-star chew toy," the old woman said, her eyes never leaving Sylvex "450 bucks, young man."
Jerony paid for the groceries and picked up the bag, with Sylvex eagerly carrying her new chew toy in her mouth. As they exited the minimarket, the sun was high in the sky.
"Master, can we go to the park now?" Sylvex asked, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
"Sure... Maybe we can pick up the other puppies at Paws Paradise," Jerony said, his eyes twinkling with a plan forming in his mind.
The ride to the park was filled with Sylvex's tales of her adventures in Japan, her ninja training, and more friends she had made.
Jerony listened attentively, feeling a sense of pride in how far she had come. As they arrived, the other pups spotted them and their tails began to wag wildly.
"Master!!!" They barked in unison, rushing over to greet their owner.
Hugs and jumps ensued, the joyous reunion filling the air with barks and laughter.
"Let's go home, pups... It's almost time for lunch," Jerony said, his voice filled with warmth as he watched his pups jumped into the Rubicon jeep.
They were all so happy to see him, and he felt complete again.
The jeep ride back to the mansion was filled with laughter and chatter. The pups talked about their training at Paws Paradise, and Sylvex excitedly told them about her adventures in Japan.
The bond between them was stronger than ever, and Jerony knew that nothing would ever separate them again.
