Legends speak of an ancient Zora swimming in the Lanayru Sea, said to appear to those on the brink of death to ferry them to paradise. Worshipped as a mighty deity, Rephomu is merely just a gentle, flirtatious giant who grew too big for the domain tens of thousands of years ago. He hides in the deep waters to avoid startling seafarers, yet can sense when one is in dire straits and is unable to be healed. With his gentle embrace, he takes them to a sacred burial site in the depths, giving them an ancient warrior's sendoff. He easily towers over other Zoras, even eclipsing the large King Dorephan, who only reaches just over his navel. When he doesn't sense Hylians too close, sometimes he likes to come up to skate on the ocean's surface. He can't resist the chime of bells, however, peeking up if a bell rings from a boat, making a mist shroud to obscure his lower body while he flirts with any men on the vessel. |
