While Shadow never got into a relationship with Bowser, a rather desperate rut left the Koopa King pregnant. Taking responsibility, Shadow raised the odd hybrid, who came out much like a sapient turtle than a Koopa mix. Due to Chaos Energy enhancing his already gifted powers of magic, Ulrich does wear inhibitors and is heavily protected by GUN.
To fight, Ulrich uses a gift from Kamek and Bowser--the Koopa Nodachi. A powerful magic sword that sprouts its blade as he unsheathes it, designed to cut through lasers and other energy sources.
