After a lot of struggling, I managed to finish another page of my poor Demake of the fantastic Digi-Rugrats comic. I do not own the original comic.
The biggest obstacle was attempting to replicate the color pencil style used in the original. I have received no help from anyone online and I searched everywhere. I eventually found a reddit post that suggested using CIE noise and then a Value Propagate distortion, which gives it a vaguely color pencil like texture. Still looks like ass though.
I did the colors differently this time. Normally I just copy the lineart layer and color that in, however, I worried that may look distorted when I did the CIE noise and Value Propagate. Instead, I used the magic select tool to select the areas that needed colored in and used the fill tools on an empty layer below the lineart, took longer but avoided the problem. Finished it off with a shading layer on top with half opacity.
Honestly, I do enjoy how this came out, though I’m kind of mixed on Veemon’s side views.
Also, if this is how they regularly treat Veemon, it definitely explains some of his later actions, some of these digi-diaperbutts needed some discipline.

Veemon pulled out the bottommost drawer and climbs up it. He is wearing yellow booties and training pants with a dark blue elastic side.

Veemon pulled out the next drawer and climbs upon it, reaching for the third one.

Palmon (clad in a basic sleeveless pink dress and disposable diaper) and Gomamon (clad in a pale blue cloth diaper with a knot on the back) stand there watching Veemon curiously as Veemon looks at them over his shoulder. Palmon asks “What are you doing, Veemon?”
-Panel 4
With his eyes closed and mouth agape with a wide smile, Veemon responds “I thought if I sneak some cookies, Gatomon will see how bwave I am and fall in love with me!”
-Panel 5
Palmon has Xs in her eyes while sticking out her tongue and a tear is on her head like in the animes.
-Panel 6
Gomamon’s eyes are closed as he laughs “Hahah! That’s the stupidest idea ever heard!”
-Panel 7
Veemon’s mouth is a small frown as his brows resemble horizontal straight lines and his eyes are basically little dots that sit at the bottom-left edges of the brows.
