A commission for TheDingy:

"Mackenzie seriously struggling with The altitude ear pressure with a plane take-off/landing, like a hands on ear grit thing. While Lyssa is trying her darnedest to act as if she cannot feel it. Mostly comes from my memory of how terribly it hurt as a kid going in a plane and it sort of easing a bit more with age."

Keep with the brave face Lyssa, keep with it.

(Incidentally, this is nothing I've ever experienced. I've had the ear pressure thing the other way when going through deep railway tunnels though. Apparently, moving the jaw as if you were chewing (chewing gum helps!) is supposed to make it easier on you.)

Commissioned by and featuring Mackenzie and Lyssa owned by

Amazing work! <3
Thank you so much again Mat for your ability to bring these sisters to life!

Such a great detail with Lyssa trying so hard to be stoic and appear that she's now old enough not to be bothered by the air pressure difference.

Aww, poor things. Ear pain is no fun DX

Been there... though I wouldn’t call it a pain, exactly. More like a pressure that happens when I go through underground train rides and occasionally road trips up and down mountains.
