To some who know me from way back it might look as though I'm back on my sci-fi scenery bullshit. I wouldn't count on it, but who knows, hopefully yes?

Either way... I actually just had a random desire to draw on MSPaint for no reason. SAI is excellent for higher-grade stuff, but there is something about MSPaint that is just so inviting when it comes to lower commitment, it's like... more approachable.
So yeah, MSPaint + mouse, because I'm sick in the head and sometimes less is more, I guess.
Even the colors are the MSPaint pink, lilac and blue mostly.

I was debating whether to even post this here or not but frick it, some people might appreciate the non-lewd for once. Is this what? The first proper SFW upload on my main gallery? Fascinating.
But yeah, did this, and the following two drawings yesterday, and I was gonna draw more and post everything but I got demotivated and just went to sleep instead.
I thought of doing more drawings before posting everything but decided "nah, let's just send the three already".

Not too sure about the architecture here. Can't say I gave it any thought, and I do need to practice this stuff a bit more to be more inventive with it.
I guess it's part of the "low stakes" MSPaint workflow, but it still feels "wrong" to post something I know I didn't put too much thought into... idk...
I originally intended on doing a mix of more like ancient-looking architecture with industrial stuff, but knowing that's precisely Rain World, I was trying to avoid that, and so I guess it went into the typical sci-fi shapes of rounded rectangles and bulky brutalist 45-degree ramps, while still keeping the industrial structural scaffolding.
Again, no thought, just instincts.
Had an intrusive thought that this is the city from the "this isn't pretty boy territory" drawing because I've been meaning to milk worldbuilding out of those characters and establish a setting around them, but I shouldn't entertain that, let's say no to that. So let's say that this isn't that.

Ay do we have tags for this stuff? I guess I'm about to find out.

Tagging this made me realize that putting "twilight" there might be a bad idea because people searching that are 100% after the horse BUT WHAT ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO CALL IT HUH?
Tried to tag it the best I could but some of these tags are 100% first-time-use.

The creative process is interesting. I'm always baffled by what people can do with MSpaint, but maybe it's just me

Don't worry, it's not just you. People do seem to be impressed by my use of MSPaint sometimes, but honestly I think people sleep up on MSPaint, it's a surprisingly good program for drawing if you're not doing complex stuff. The eraser right click helps a lot and it's not something found in many other drawing programs (only re-tints selected color with selected background color).

I know that porn is preferred and I can't expect these to be too popular, so seeing them be appreciated is very nice to me, thank you.

Thanks! Maybe I should do more. I wasn't expecting this to be too popular but enough people seem to like it.
