I avoided buying Balatro for a long time, given its popularity. But even then, I wasn't the one who bought it.

Because it's a silly game, I figured I'd do things in a silly way, so I made an offer to my friend Dal - who was the one that most exposed me to the game. So I cut a deal with her.

She'd buy me both the Steam and Android versions, and then gamble the monetary value with a run. She didn't win, but even so this is what resulted - along with a silly comic where I drew the process (https://bsky.app/profile/the.choco.one/post/3leshq3ydmk2t) of writing a silly tweet (https://bsky.app/profile/the.choco.one/post/3lerfjktuhc2x) in relation to the whole exchange.
