I've been seeing a lot of Star Fox art around lately thanks to Fox's appearance in the new Mario Movie, and it's inspired me to make some of my own art to add to the pool. I'm not ashamed even in the slightest to admit that I ship Fox McCloud and Wolf O'Donnell SUUUUPER hard. It's quite tragic, then, that they must be on opposite sides...

I like to imagine, then, that Fox and Wolf like to get together in secret now and then. Going on special... "dates" every so often, if you will. Cruising around Lylat, enjoying one another's company. Here, I imagined the two flying by Solar, and admiring the brilliant red beauty. Feeling as warm and confident as he was, Wolf couldn't help but rest a paw around McCloud's shoulder, pulling him close... and delivering unto him a form of affection actually quite common among wolves like him. Muzzling. It's a true act of kindness, though Fox, not accustomed to it, can't help but be flustered regardless x3

Alas, as touching as this moment is, it too shall not last. But at least, while it's here, the two canines can continue to just soak it all in. Star Fox and Star Wolf... kissing, practically, under Lylat's most prominent star itself~
