Character Sheet for Petunia Una
Character Description
Petunia Una is one of the youngest Vulpix maids in the service of the Tye family, a bright little ember of enthusiasm whose heart is far larger than her experience. While she wears the same uniform and carries the same responsibilities as the senior maids, she has yet to develop the unwavering discipline that defines someone like Marigold. Tasks have an unfortunate habit of slipping from her mind halfway through, towels are occasionally left folded in the wrong closet, tea grows cold because she wandered off to help someone else, and she has been known to arrive carrying entirely the wrong tray with an apologetic laugh. Fortunately for her, it is nearly impossible to remain upset with Petunia for long. Every mistake is followed by genuine remorse, earnest attempts to make things right, and a warm smile that reminds everyone she never errs out of laziness or malice.

Background/History
Her forgetfulness stems less from carelessness and more from an endlessly wandering curiosity. Every hallway offers something interesting to admire, every conversation invites her attention, and every visitor seems like a potential new friend. She becomes fascinated by little details most people overlook, whether it is a butterfly drifting through the gardens, a strange flower blooming beside the greenhouse, or the unusual accent of a traveling merchant. These distractions frequently pull her away from whatever she had intended to accomplish, forcing Marigold to gently—but often repeatedly—steer her back toward her duties.
Despite her shortcomings as a maid, Petunia possesses an emotional intelligence that cannot be taught. She has an uncanny sense for when someone feels lonely, nervous, or overwhelmed, often appearing beside them with tea, kind words, or simply quiet company without realizing how comforting her presence can be. Children adore her, guests remember her fondly, and even exhausted servants find themselves smiling after speaking with her. She naturally creates an atmosphere of warmth wherever she goes.
Cordy has quietly developed an affection for the cheerful Vulpix, though his interest remains largely one-sided. Whenever Petunia enters a room he finds excuses to linger nearby, volunteering for errands or casual conversations that conveniently place him at her side. His intentions are sincere, but Marigold notices every lingering glance and every awkward attempt to impress the young maid. Having watched Petunia grow into her role, Marigold sees her almost as a younger sister and has absolutely no intention of allowing Cordy to complicate her life with courtship, especially while Petunia is still so innocent and easily flustered. Her protective instincts make Cordy's efforts little more than a source of quiet frustration.
Unknown to almost everyone, Belladonna harbors feelings for Petunia that extend beyond friendship. Unlike Cordy, Belladonna keeps her emotions carefully hidden beneath playful teasing and gentle companionship. She treasures every shared laugh, every walk through the gardens, and every excuse to spend time together, yet refuses to confess her feelings out of fear that doing so might damage the friendship she values so deeply. To Petunia, Belladonna is simply someone who always seems especially happy to see her, unaware that every smile she offers means far more than she realizes.
Petunia herself remains blissfully oblivious to both admirers.
