It was definitely odd, but an endorsement was an endorsement. Nina was trying to be more independent and the work seemed easy. What better way to make money than to be a model? She had already earned bank through the reptile <-> mammal kink connection app. However, she had to shut that down when Steven found out about what she was doing. There had to be a more legitimate means of using her position and influence to more positively impact the country she would soon be in charge of.
Cue the offer she received via email the other day. It seemed like an unusual but easy gig. She was to be a model for some new recreational shoes that a fledgling company wanted to sell throughout Talkar. Shoes were odd in and of themselves, seeing as most people didn't need them unless doing dangerous industrial jobs. But the idea of simply wearing them as nothing more than a fashion statement was novel enough.
She agreed to the photo shoot. Letting her parents know that she'd be out shopping, she met at the arranged spot with the photographer. She naturally had her entourage of guards who would hop in and protect their princess at a moment's notice should something go awry and she was in danger of being kitnapped or worse. It started out innocently enough. Trying on the shoes was a hoot. It was awkward, tight-fitting and felt like she was constrained just walking on them, but the money was too good.
The location for the shoot was curious, given the signage and lack of people around, but she did her best to model and show off those fancy shoes, making sure she got her face in every shot to endorse the brand. Funny thing though, each new position got more and more risque until the photographer requested she model with nothing but the shoes. A quick glance from the guards did give Nina pause, but the amount offered would triple if she agreed. Well, if these pics perhaps stayed private, maybe it wouldn't be so bad?
