I guess at this point it doesn't really matter anymore. I mean, they're all gonna die soon anyway. It's progressing quickly. Look at the snake - between page 4 and this one she's developed spots on the back of her "neck". On page 5 the warden's ear tips are fine. Now they've become purple.

Great job. I can't wait to see what happens on the last comic page. But I do hope the one with a now contracted demon and little friend on their shoulder, along with the rhino and their family, can make it to Esperanza as well, because even they deserve a happy ending. The inmates should get there too, because even they deserve to stay alive after being falsely imprisoned by demons.

I was expecting a story focused on the lynx and her criminal past, hinted at in Origin, before leading to her searching and finding Esperanza, rather than more lore dealing with those invasive parasites and chaos again. Ver played such a small role that I'm shocked she was needed for this chapter at all.

Yes, the script of this story changed wildly from its first draft, it was going to be about Vero doing everything that Mañosa did (heck, initially there weren't even any demons or screwmlins in it), but then I had a lot of plot holes in my hands and had to start changing things and adding new characters for it to work.
